🔈 **[Yarik Yermilov](https://www.linkedin.com/in/yarik-yermilov/overlay/about-this-profile/),** Principal Software Engineer
🚀 In this talk, I’ve condensed one year of my personal experience with AI coding agents and Superhuman engineers’ experience into a set of patterns and anti-patterns we’ve observed from our numerous successful and failed experiments. I will share a pragmatic view on how to up-level your personal productivity as a software engineer and how to rebuild your team processes to become AI first. I will share the story of how I abandoned text editors forever in favour of Claude Code. I’ll also share how Superhuman uses AI for every step of the software development process, including code reviews, infrastructure migrations, feature development, and production monitoring. We will discuss the challenges of organizational transformation and how to avoid cargo-culting AI adoption and AI slop in your production systems.
**Facts about the speaker**:
* I have been with Grammarly, now part of Superhuman, for 8.5 years.
* Over the years, I have worked on product features development, platforms and infrastructure, and developer experience, both as a contributing engineer and a technical lead.
* Last year, I was one of the trailblazers of AI coding adoption at Superhuman, working on the AI coding harness, adoption, and learning among engineers and on autonomous coding agents
* I haven’t written a line of code manually since May 2025.
* I have been with Grammarly, now part of Superhuman, for 8.5 years.
**💥 Who should attend?**
* Software engineers who want to learn how to use AI Coding Agents
* Technical leaders who want to boost their team's productivity by introducing an AI-First approach
**Agenda:**
✨ 18:00–18:30: Check-in and networking

Workshop: Bindungstypen / Beziehungstypen, Deine Freundschaften & Beziehungen
Weil:
* Ich bin nicht allein.
* Ich lernen die Gefühle anderer kennen
* Ich entwickle ein gutes Gefühl für die anderen Beziehungsstile (nicht nur meinen)
* Ich löse das Thema für mich Schritt für Schritt - und werde immer sicher in meinen Bindungen & Beziehungen.
💬 **Agenda**
18:15 Uhr - Doors Open & Ankommen
18:30 Uhr - Start des Workshops
* Einführung, Vorstellung
* Kleines Kennenlernen
* Einführung in das Thema durch mich
* Verständnisfragen
* Verschiedene Austauschrunden mit Vertiefungsfragen (der größte zeitliche Anteil)
* Offene Fragen
21:30 Uhr - Ende
.
Zwischendurch machen wir eine kleine Pause.
.
.

Mavericks Bouldering — A Casual Climb & Hangout in Berlin
A small NEXUS gathering built around movement rather than discussion alone.
This is for high-bandwidth Mavericks who spend most of their time in conceptual thought and need some physical counterweight. Why bouldering? Because it’s deliberate: short problems, full focus, and immediate feedback. You’re on the wall, solving something tangible. The mental noise drops instantly!
Conversations happen naturally in between climbs. No pressure, you move at your own pace. Some exchanges stay light. Others go deep. Both are fine. This is not about athletic achievement. It’s about presence, recalibration, and being around people who don’t require you to shrink or translate yourself.
Come as you are. Try some bouldering problems. Rest when needed, and engage where it makes sense.
**Bring comfortable clothes and climbing shoes if you have them (rentals are available at the gym).**
*Registration equals commitment. If you sign up, you show up. Read the group description first and decide consciously. For context about NEXUS, visit our* ***[website](https://thenexusformula.com)*** *and* ***[newsletter](https://news.thenexusformula.com)****.*
TIN* Embodied Practices
**TIN\* Embodied Practices**

**TIN\* Embodied Practices**
with Lux
for **TIN\* (Trans\*, Inter\*, Non-binary, agender and genderqueer people)**
Free
**[Registration Required](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/tin-embodied-practices/w16-2026/)**
Drawing from Body-Mind Centering®, breathwork after Ilse Middendorf, Authentic Movement and Feldenkrais, the sessions combine guided movement, touch-based exploration, improvisation and reflection. Grounded in consent, autonomy and care, the practice supports embodied awareness, bodily autonomy and resilience within a supportive community.
A movement-based and self-development space dedicated to TIN\* bodies (Trans\*, Inter\*, Non-binary, including agender and genderqueer identities) and the lived experiences of people identifying outside traditional cisgender definitions.
This practice draws inspiration from the experiential anatomy of Body-Mind Centering®, the breathwork of Ilse Middendorf, Authentic Movement, Feldenkrais, and other somatic movement approaches. Touch, hands-on and partnered work, dance improvisation tools, and collective reflection are woven together into an integrated somatic movement framework grounded in consent, autonomy, and care. The intention of this space is to support the cultivation of confidence and resilience in our physicality as TIN\* people, nurture bodily autonomy, and develop touch literacy within a supportive and conscious community.
Each session begins with a guided somatic movement practice focused on developing anatomical tools for self-observation. We work with the five cardinal lines (arms, legs, spine), the four corners of the trunk (shoulders and hips), the three primary weights (head, chest, pelvis), and the two sides of the body. These principles support participants in orienting within their own physical architecture and cultivating embodied awareness. From this foundation, the practice expands into communal movement and shared spatial authorship, including time for integration and reflection. Movement is framed as relational, political, and spatial practice in its own right.
**General Information**
To engage fully in the experience, participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.
**Participants:** This workshop is intended for people who identify outside traditional cisgender definitions: Trans\*, Inter\*, Non-binary, including agender and genderqueer identities.
**Registration:** This event has limited spots available. Registration via our website is required.

**Cost:** The event is free of charge.

Let's Meet Up and Practice Languages
(Inside event) Are you learning a language but can't find people to practice with? Do you enjoy helping people speak your native language? If so, meet with us to make friends and have some good conversations.
We begin by sharing the languages we speak fluently and the ones we are learning. Then we split into groups and speak! You can switch groups as often as you'd like. The goal is to speak about interesting, thought-provoking topics - not just the typical introductions we usually make.
At our last meetups we spoke: German, Ukranian, English, French, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Arabic, Norwegian, Icelandic, and Dutch. Can you help us make this list bigger? We hope to see you there and welcome ANY and ALL languages. (However, we cannot guarantee we will have a speaking partner for all languages).
Looking forward to see you all! 😁

**Agenda:**
6:30 pm – Doors open: snacks, drinks, networking

7:10 pm – **What Actually Changes Customer Behavior? Causal Thinking Across Attribution, Segmentation, and Growth // Dr. Maryam Ramezani-bartsch**
Customer data is often used to explain what happened: attribution assigns credit, segmentation groups users, and dashboards track performance. Yet marketers and business leaders still struggle with a more fundamental question: what actually changed because of our actions?
This talk introduces causal thinking as a practical way to interpret customer data across attribution, segmentation, and growth. It shows why correlation-based metrics can be misleading and how counterfactuals and incrementality help teams ask better questions when they look at results. A concrete email campaign example illustrates how causal uplift modeling separates customers who would have purchased anyway from those whose behavior truly changed.
The goal is to help data scientists, marketers, and decision-makers move from reading metrics to reasoning about incremental impact and to make better decisions because of it.
Speaker's bio:
Dr. Maryam Ramezani-bartsch is a data and analytic leader with over 20 years of global experience building and scaling customer analytics and data science teams. She has led the development of customer data, marketing measurement and targeting capabilities for global brands such as adidas, Sky, Delivery Hero, and Zalando, helping embed customer-centric, data-driven decision making across organizations. Her work focuses on building customer data models, causal analytics, experimentation, and developing teams that turn insights into sustained business impact.
7:40 pm - break
8:00 pm – **Your Next On-Call Engineer could run Locally //** **Anthony Alaribe**
What if your next on-call engineer wasn't a person, but a Python agent running on your machine?
Inspired by the explosion of local agents like OpenClaw, this talk explores what happens when we point agentic workflows at the systems we monitor.
We'll walk through the checklist most engineers actually run during on-call: checking dashboards, tailing logs, correlating errors with recent deploys, and then explore how to build a custom Python agent that automates these checks using tools like LangGraph, OpenTelemetry, and the Anthropic SDK.
You'll leave with a working starting point and a new way to think about what agentic AI can do beyond chatbots.
Speaker's bio:
Anthony has spent over a decade building software at companies like Opera, and DeliveryHero. He has faced his fair share of dealing with unreliability software and breaking changes in APIs, including losing over $2m in orders to such an incident, amongst other war stories. Say hi when you him. He loves conversations about AI, databases, and programming languages.
8:30 pm – What makes XGBoost so powerful // Rakibur Rahman
9:10 pm - closing
This event will be only in-person. Please check our Code of Conduct and official health regulation in Berlin before coming. If you feel some signs of sickness, please consider skipping this event and attending another time. We will have plenty of events in different formats in the future.
Looking forward seeing you all!
