**Mandarin Learner Meetup in Berlin! *(Free resources below)***
**Learning Mandarin is like trying to tame a** đČ**.**
It can feel frustrating, but youâre not alone. **[WeHanzi](wehanzi.com)** is here to support!
**[WeHanzi](wehanzi.com)** is an independently built iOS app created by Ben and Gina.
We've turned the entire learning experience into ***Comprehensible Input* through both simplified and traditional manga** with support for **Zhuyin**, **Pinyin**, **flashcards**, **audio**, **direct translation**, an integrated dictionary.
We also specifically design region-specific language to reflect real-life usage in both **mainland Chinese Mandarin** and **Taiwanese Mandarin**, allowing you to naturally compare and explore the differences between the two, so you donât end up saying something that makes perfect sense in Beijing, but gets you funny looks in Taipei đ.
Now, together with our good friend Matthias from **[Gemeinsam Chinesisch & Deutsch lernen](https://www.meetup.com/gemeinsam-mandarin-chinesisch-und-deutsch-lernen/events/308204343/?eventOrigin=group_upcoming_events),** weâre inviting you to our very first **in-person Mandarin Learner Meetup in Berlin** together!
All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced learners. Just come hang out, share your stories, laugh at our tone mistakes! As a community, we can learn from each other and turn Mandarin into a piece of cake! đ°

We'll meet at the meeting spot first and then - depending on the weather - decide as a group to either walk around Tempelhofer Feld or go to a closeby restaurant to warm up and chat. So please be on time. Or if you are running late or can't find us, just give Matthias a call on 0176-21984345.
See you all soon,

Language exchange Italian/German at The Castle
Ciao a tutti!
For our event we would like to meet you at 17:00 and have a beer all together, or other drinks.
The goal of our first meeting is to get to know eachother and practice Italian and German.
Please donât be afraid that your language skills might not be sufficiently good or that you are a beginner. We understand that learning languages is a difficult and long journey.
We donât tolerate discrimination. We don't tolerate any aggressive or weird attitude. This has to be a Place of Comfort zone for everyone :) Please be respectful and kind with the others!
PS: you can find us on the pool table area usually, if not just ask to the bar area for the reservation on the name "Claudio"
A presto, bis bald
Claudio
Ich hoffe dass wir bald uns sehen!
March Book Club: Butter by A. Yuzuki
We'll come together at a cosy cafe to discuss A. Yuzuki's novel Butter. Before RSVPing yes, ask yourself-
Do I have a copy of the book?
Can I be there at that place and time?
Looking forward to our discussion! :)
Also if you would like to join our Whatsapp group to vote on books, please talk to Sneha at the meeting. :)
Tango 4 All
We invite you to discover Tango, whether you want to lead, follow, or simply try out a new role. If you already dance, come by to practice!
We embrace the classic Practica spirit: a space to learn from one another.
Tango is a social and physical activity that brings us back from the digital world into the physical and the sensory realm. Much like Yoga or Tai Chi, it focuses on our connection to the ground, to ourselves and to one another.
And let's face it: expressing music through movement is something almost everyone loves.
Your hosts are Davide, Nacho, Pietro and Rafa.

Tomamos algo y hablamos español y Deutsch
Wild garlic pesto - Berliner Lauch
If you come to S Treptower Park: Walk along the riverside. Behind the bridge that crosses the river to an island, you'll find a car park that borders PlÀnterwald. Stefanie walks that path, I'll be waiting directly on the car park.
A four year running tradition: We meet near S Treptower Park, walk to PlÀnterwald and collect wild garlic to make our own Pesto.

**Event Info:**
Bring along your **current book to read** (or something **creative** to work on ) and join us for this mix of a shared focus time + discussion.
\- 11:00\-11:30 \- Meet & greet
\- 11:30\-12:30 \- Silent focus time
\- 12:30 \- Discussion of books/ projects over coffee
**Drinks & snacks are included** âïž
* **To reserve your place, a ticket (âŹ11,90/event) or a community pass (only âŹ24,90/MONTH) [from the website](https://pausify.org/) *www.pausify.org* is required**
* **Attendance here doesnât show all sign-ups from other platforms.**
***FAQ: Why does it cost money if I bring my own project?***
Because we rent a beautiful, central space for every event. Ever thought your monthly apartment rent was too high? Well, multiply that â thatâs what commercial spaces in big cities like Berlin cost *per hour*.
Of course, if all you want is just some quiet time, your home or a library is perfect. But if youâd like to focus & connect with others in an inspiring space â with drinks, snacks included â thatâs what your ticket helps to cover.
See pics from our events below - and on our Iï»żnstagram: **[@Pausify (Co-Reading Space)](https://www.instagram.com/pausify_org/) âïž**
