Coffee/Tea While Knitting

**Do you like to make things? Would you like to use 3D software, lasercutter and 3D printing to help you make your idea?** TOG has an open evening to learn how CAD software and 3D fabrication tools can help you make your project. All you need to take part is your own laptop and some ideas on what you want to make. This is not a taught class, more like an informal working group of self-directed makers. We will be happy to help you explore how to use our 3D tools in designing and making your project whether you are a crafter, designer, engineer or hobbyist. Come and have a look at the tools in our space and get some ideas on how your project can be made.

These are our regular Monday evening electronics nights. Everyone from absolute beginner to experienced is welcome. These evenings are not classes or tutorials, rather a very friendly informal evening. We have a wide range of people who come. Some are absolute beginners who do not even work or study electronics, but are interested to know more. Others have something that they are already working on. We almost always have some first time visitors and we always give them a tour of the space. Come in with your Pi, Arduino, or whatever you have. Bring your laptop. Maybe you want to make something, solder, breadboard or use our electronic gear. Maybe you have some vague ideas and just want to get started. Or maybe you’re just curious……if so, it’s fine to come along and just see what others are doing. If you would like to get even more involved and have the full use of our space, we would be delighted to have you as a full member. Membership brings many benefits. We are located behind Mr Price and the Bright Lights store on Kylemore Road. We have lots of free parking available.

Our free-of-charge meet-up upstairs in Ryan's Bar. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. Late comers always welcome, you just might have to wait a little for a game to open up. **The meet ups are free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Bringing in outside food or drink is completely unacceptable.** Check out the comments below where people will say what games they are bringing and express your interest in joining if interested.

Come along to get rid of the number one fear people have. Every week we have new members and people starting from scratch so you will not be alone. Everything is based around what you're comfortable with and you don't have to stand up, talk or do anything if you don't feel like it. But you will have the opportunity to speak at least 4/5 times a night. You can come along to see what we're doing and take part if you like. We will be running this for beginners every week and anyone is welcome to join us to learn and get better together. Hope to see you there :D We charge €5 to help towards the room rental.

These events are suitable for those who already have a regular meditation practice and want to continue to do so in a supportive environment with other meditators. **Join Us for a Night of Live Acoustic Music! 🎶** Bring your instrument/voice and your love for music for a relaxed evening of acoustic performances with fellow musicians! This is a safe space: a welcoming and supportive song circle featuring an eclectic mix of folk, country, Americana, blues, Irish Trad, and singer-songwriter styles. Play your own song, a faithful cover, or a fresh take—everyone’s welcome! Here’s how it works: * It’s unplugged and informal. Each person gets a turn to play one song in a round, then we go again. * No instrument? No worries! Singers can go acappella or ask for accompaniment. Someone may be able to help out. * All skill levels are encouraged—it’s about the joy of making music together. **A few notes:** * Max of 12 performers, so **RSVP is required** * Respect the music— we stay quiet during performances and breaks between songs are the perfect moment to go for a drink or head to the loo. * **It’s a free venue**, so consider grabbing a drink to support the space. * **I'm adding a tips jar!** 50% of the tips will go to the bar staff and 50% to the cost of the Meetup App membership fee (it's about 10 EUR a month with my current discount plan). Join us for coffee, a chat and bring your project at the CHQ (fully accessible venue). We're usually at the tables in the middle of the building - just look out for the yarn :) There's a choice of cafes, including the Bakehouse & Starbucks. There's no charge for the meetup but we ask please that you join our Whatsapp group if you plan on staying with the group. Cost is only €5 a year to pay for Meetup subs etc.

About us: The Tibetan Dharma and Meditation Group is part of a Buddhist organisation based in Taiwan, which is centred on one of the greatest living Rinpoches (teachers) in the world at the moment. It aims to introduce people living in Ireland to Buddhist teachings and practices that have been passed to Rinpoche through his masters and their masters going back many, many generations in order to benefit and bring peace to all sentient beings. There is are Public Toilets there, with Two car park for those who chose drive there, there is a Coffee Shop too. The Wallking Loop we are doing is 3.7 KM about 1 hour Walk, there is a Fairy Tree Home, A Lake. The Wicklow Way Cafe, River Dargle, Craft Courtyard, DLR Coco Market, Miller Cake Studio, Bolands Coffee Shop and Walled Gardens.
