Restoring and improving joints mobility.
2. Flexibility - prevention of future injuries (a stretched body is injury-resistant and is not afraid to take an uncomfortable position);
3. If you are involved in any other sport activity - flexible body is a MUST to increase your motion and achieve higher results.
BENEFITS OF DOING STRETCHING
- Stretching will help you stay in shape.
- Get rid of back and hip pain: knees, ankles, hips. This is especially true if you have a sedentary job and a sedentary lifestyle.
- Improve blood flow and nutrition of problem areas.
- During stretching, cartilage and joints are intensively nourished, which makes it possible to regain a feeling of youth and lightness.
- Maintain and improve ligament flexibility. Reduce injuries and the likelihood of microtrauma.

Derrière ce constat, se dessine une question essentielle : quel monde sommes-nous en train de construire ? — « Je suis né avec la décolonisation de l’Afrique que j’ai sillonnée de long en large ; j’ai grandi avec la guerre froide, que j’ai vue disparaître au centre de l’Europe ; j’ai été témoin de l’essor inexorable, majeur, de la Chine; j’ai parcouru les terres meurtries du Proche-Orient ; et je tente chaque matin, depuis huit ans, d’analyser au micro de France Inter la bascule du monde. Cela fait un demi-siècle que j’accompagne, en tant que journaliste – reporter, correspondant ou éditorialiste – et pour le meilleur comme le pire, les transformations de notre planète. Or ce monde est devenu plus difficile à “lire”, plus déroutant, plus inquiétant également. Dans ce récit, je puise dans mes expériences, mes rencontres, mon histoire personnelle aussi, de quoi expliquer ce que nous vivons aujourd’hui : la fin d’un monde, celui qui est sorti de la Seconde Guerre mondiale avec ses institutions imparfaites et ses règles de droit souvent malmenées. Le monde d’aujourd’hui n’est déjà plus celui d’hier. Celui de demain sera-t-il celui des rapports de force et des systèmes autoritaires, ou aurons-nous lasagesse d’en bâtir un nouveau, plus équitable et ouvert ? »

Pour cet IMPROMPTU, Ekaterina nous invite à visiter "La Fosse aux filles" d' Alexandre Kouprine et "La Maison Tellier" de Guy de Maupassant. Dans La Fosse aux filles, Alexandre Kouprine propose un tableau psychologique d’une grande dureté. Il ne cherche aucune provocation, mais s’attache à montrer la lente déshumanisation des femmes enfermées dans ce système, tout en explorant la banalité du mal, la résignation subie et l’érosion progressive de toute illusion. Le regard est empathique, grave, parfois étouffant, et laisse peu de place à l’échappatoire. À l’inverse, La Maison Tellier de Guy de Maupassant adopte un ton plus léger, parfois quasi burlesque, sans pour autant être naïf. Par le biais de l’ironie et du décalage, Maupassant révèle l’hypocrisie de la bourgeoisie provinciale et souligne à quel point la maison close, loin d’être un scandale isolé, est parfaitement intégrée à l’ordre social. All members of the PIGD community are invited to participate in the project presentations and attend the dedicated talk. All game projects that participated in the selection process, as well as other community project teams, will of course be given the opportunity to playtest their games in the afternoon at booths set up by the organizers and meet the visitors at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie.* **Preliminary program:** * **10:00 AM:** Welcome speech and presentation of the meetup for newcomers, as well as upcoming industry events related to video game development: FAJV application deadlines, professional workshops, and video game festivals. * **10:30 AM:** Expert panel: How to launch your game on the market? * **11:00 AM:** Presentation of projects selected during the last edition before a panel of publishers. * **12:30 PM:** Lunch Break: For selected projects, a buffet with the panel, feedback, and recommendations. When judging morality, should we prioritize **intentions/duty** or **outcomes/results**? It introduces two influential philosophers as representatives of these approaches. * **Immanuel Kant (deontology):** An action is moral when it is done from **duty** and follows rational, universal principles (the **categorical imperative**). Certain acts—like lying—are wrong regardless of the consequences; you can’t do a wrong thing for a right reason. * **John Stuart Mill (utilitarian consequentialism):** The morality of an action is determined by its **effects**, specifically how much **happiness/well-being** it produces. Mill argues that some pleasures are “higher” than others, and that good intentions don’t redeem harmful outcomes. ## Discussion Questions 1. **The lying dilemma:** A murderer comes to your door and asks if your friend is hiding inside. Kant would say you must not lie. 2. **Can good intentions rescue a bad outcome?** 3. **The organ harvest problem:** A surgeon has five patients dying of organ failure and one healthy patient in for a checkup. Killing the one to harvest organs would save five lives, and the math works out for the utilitarian. Why does this feel so deeply wrong? Is that feeling a point in Kant's favor, or just a bias we should overcome? 4. **Do rules need exceptions?** Kant insists moral rules must be universal, with no exceptions. But most of us can imagine extreme scenarios where any rule seems like it should bend. Does the need for exceptions fatally undermine deontology, or is the strength of the system precisely that it refuses to bend? 5. **Who gets to calculate the consequences?** Utilitarianism asks us to maximize good outcomes, but we're notoriously bad at predicting consequences. If we can't reliably know the results of our actions, is it practical to base our entire moral system on outcomes? Does this uncertainty push us back toward rules and principles? 6. **Everyday morality:** Think about a real moral decision you've made recently, even a small one. Did you reason more like a Kantian (what's the right thing to do in principle?) or more like a utilitarian (what will produce the best result?)? Do most people naturally lean one way? 7. **Justice vs. the greater good:** A town can prevent a deadly plague by sacrificing one innocent person. The greater good is clearly served. But is it just? Can an action be morally right and deeply unjust at the same time? 8. **The big synthesis question:** Are these two systems actually opposed, or do they often arrive at the same answers by different paths? Is it possible that we need both: rules to guide us in the moment and consequences to evaluate systems and policies over time?

Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
