Reset Your Nervous System: Restorative Evening Masterclass
A 2-hour guided reset for an overstimulated body and a busy mind.
If youāve ever wished the Savasana - the final calming pose at the end of yoga class - could last much longer, this masterclass was created exactly with you in mind.
For two full hours, we slow everything down. No rushing. No squeezing ārelaxationā into the last 5 minutes. Just spacious, grounding, deeply calming restorative yoga - the kind that lets your body unwind while your nervous system finally exhales.
Think of it as an evening for connoisseurs of stillness. A gentle, thoughtful practice designed for those who donāt just want rest⦠but truly need it.
šæ Why restorative yoga matters now more than ever?
Most of us live in a chronic state of āgo-modeā: tight shoulders, shallow breath, difficulty switching off.
Restorative yoga works by giving your body permission to downshift. When youāre supported and still, your nervous system receives a profound message of safety, and only then can it begin to heal, recalibrate, and return to balance.
This masterclass is for you if:
-You crave a slower, softer, deeply nurturing practice
-Your days feel overstimulating, busy or noisy
-You struggle to disconnect, even when you're tired
-You love the restorative part of regular class and want more!
Youāll walk away with:
ā A deeply rested body
ā A calmer, more regulated nervous system
ā A sense of groundedness you can actually feel
ā Simple restorative shapes you can return to anytime
ā A warm group experience that feels like an exhale
ā¦and as a little added sweetness: a treat from @brioche et cafe, plus a small, but truly lovely, surprise gift to take home.

Mithila Painting
Hello and welcome!
Join us for a guided session on Mithila painting to unwind and start your week with serenity and intention.
This painting technique has been preserved and passed down over generations by women who have made it their way of self expression and connecting with the world, even in times when they had limited autonomy on their lives.
Let this powerful medium relax you in a fun and creative way. Let the chatter in your mind flow away with each stroke of your brush or pen, as we try to find the answer to a simple question through art: "Who am I?"
Who knows, maybe you find the quiet within you, hidden among all the chaos, or you end up making good friends over some paint and a cup of coffee or tea! Either way, this is a safe space where everyone is welcome.
Rules:
1. This event is free and all materials will be provided on spot.
2. Seats are limited on a first come first served basis, so don't forget to register.
3. You don't need to be an artist or an expert, just join as you are! :)
4. Be present in the moment and respectful of others sharing the space.

Godinne to Dinant (23km)
Spring is here (according to some definitions) and it's time to move our legs again with a hike from **Godinne to Dinant** (\~23km, 600m elevation). We will walk along the valley of the Maas, but staying by the river is boring so we'll have at least three good climbs, visit a ruined castle, walk above steep cliffs and enjoy some great views. At the end, we will have a drink in Dinant (optional) before taking the train back to Brussels.
**There are major engineering works this weekend and the railway is closed between Brussels Zuid and Noord stations - please read the travel information below carefully!**
**The weather forecast is sunny and 17C, but prepared for a shower just in case. The path will be muddy and slippery in places so wear good shoes, preferably walking boots.**
**We will walk at an average speed of 5km/h. This is quite fast.** We will walk both on paved and unpaved roads. Iāve never walked this route before, so itās possible there are some mistakes in the planning.
**You can find the GPX track here:** [https://mapy.com/s/redejagasu](https://mapy.com/s/redejagasu)
**Meeting point and train**
We will meet in the main hall of **Brussels Schuman station at 09:00**.
The train **IC 2509 (Dinant)** leaves from **platform 2 at 9:16** (you can also join this train at Brussels Luxemburg at 9:28, but **please note it does not call at Brussels Zuid, Centraal or Noord**).
It arrives at **10:35 in Godinne**.
**Train tickets**
\- Single Brussels to Godinne\, ⬠9\.60 or ⬠5\.80 with Train\+
\- Single Dinant to Brussels\, ⬠11\.40 or ⬠6\.80 with Train\+
You probably want to buy the Train+ card for the price of ⬠6 (1 month) or ⬠48 (12 months). It can be bought in the SNCB/NMBS app or at ticket machines.
**Train back to Brussels**
There are trains every hour at xx:13 from Dinant to Brussels, taking 1h30 to Schuman station. There is an additional connection via Namur every second hour at 15:35, 17:35, 19:35...
**Specifics**
Distance: \~23 km
Elevation gain: \~600 m
Net walking time: \~5.5h
Level: ***Intermediate (lots of climbing)***

If this happens, we will of course update the Meetup website and send out a message to those registered. So, it is important to have access to either the [Meetup.com](http://Meetup.com) website and/or your email.**
