New in Berlin: Easter Monday Connections â Social Butterfly Club đŠ
Easter Monday carries a different kind of energy â somewhere between a long weekend, a fresh start, and the feeling that spring is finally here.
This Social Butterfly Club Meetup brings that energy into a relaxed Monday evening. A space to connect, share conversations, and start the week with a bit more lightness and curiosity. đ·

Whether youâve spent the weekend with people, by yourself, or somewhere in between â this is a chance to step back into the city and connect.
âš Suggested Ice Breaker Question:
âWhat has been a highlight of your long weekend?â

Become a Landlord/lady. Werde Vermieter:in. On Demand: MON THR 6pm-7pm R.s.v.p.
We make landladies and landlords. They buy a flat and pay just 1/4. Tenants and tax cuts pay 3/4. It's not a trick. It's government policy. Our Federal Governments, past and present, want taxpayers to become landlords and landladies, buy property, rent it out to tenants and enjoy passive income later. Come check this out. No strings attached. No sales. Just a meet and greet for orientation. And an after work drink.
Wir machen Vermieter. Steuerzahler kaufen eine Wohnung und zahlen dafĂŒr nur 1/4. Mieter und Finanzamt zahlen 3/4. Das ist kein Trick. Neurodivergent Sharing Circle: People of Color
If you are navigating life with both being a person of color and being neurodivergentâthis sharing circle is for you.
**Details**
đ
Wednesday, 8th of April 2026
đ 18:30 - 20:30
đ Meeting Room in BIW\*oC Rising https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y6wTvMXV4rCUkgzP8
đïž Free but a donation for the space is highly appreciated.
**Community disclaimer:** This circle is organized entirely by neurodivergent volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and resources to create this space. They deserve patience and kindness.
**What happens here**
* We gather. We share. We listen.
* Stimming, fidgeting, moving around, stepping out for a break, is always welcome.
* For this first event, we will try to open with a round of introductions. If you feel called to, you can share three words that represent your neurodivergent and BIPOC life.
* There is no pressure to share if you can't think of any or would rather just pass.
* After we hear the words, we can see what themes emerge and let the conversation flow from there.
* The format of this event can be changed and discussed the further we go with this sharing circle.
**This space is for you if:**
* You're a person of colorâBlack, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, mixed-race, or any marginalized racial or ethnic identity.
* You're neurodivergentâdiagnosed, self-identified, questioning, or just know your brain works differently: ADHD, autistic, dyslexic, AuDHD, or any other neurotype.
**Community Agreements**
* **This is a space to heal, not to harm.**
Experiencing racism is painful and real. That pain is welcome here.
However, this is not a space to express sexist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, colorist, or any other discriminatory attitudes toward any person or groupâregardless of their identity.
We all carry wounds. But those wounds do not give us permission to wound others.
* **Confidentiality:** What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. This helps us build trust.
* **No Fixing:** This is a space for sharing experiences, not for giving unsolicited advice, diagnosing others, or trying to "fix" someone. We are here to witness and support, not to problem-solve.
* **Content Warnings:** If you plan to share something that involves heavy topics like trauma, self-harm, or graphic discrimination, please give a brief warning before you start (e.g., "I'd like to share something about a difficult experience..."). This allows others to gently step out or prepare themselves.
* **Respect the Space:** Please be mindful and respectful of the venue that hosts us.
**About the Space Hosting Us**

**Aï»żgenda of the evening:**
**Welcome and Introductions:** The Toastmaster of the Day (TMOD) often opens the meeting, who welcomes everyone and introduces the meeting's theme or agenda. The TMOD also introduces the key roles and functionaries for that session.
**Prepared Speeches:** A significant portion of the meeting is dedicated to prepared speeches. Members working through various projects in the Toastmasters education program deliver speeches based on their chosen projects. Each speech is evaluated by a designated evaluator who provides feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
**Table Topics:** Table Topics is a segment where impromptu speaking skills are tested. The Table Topics Master presents a series of short, unprepared speaking challenges or questions, and members or guests are invited to come to the podium and give a brief, improvised response.
**Evaluations:** Following the prepared speeches and Table Topics
segment, evaluators provide constructive feedback to speakers. These evaluations focus on content, delivery, body language, and time management. The goal is to help speakers improve their speaking skills.
**Reports and Functionary Roles:** The meeting may include various functionary roles, such as the Timer, Grammarian, Ah-Counter, and others, who report on their observations and contributions to the session. These roles help members improve their language and time management skills.
**General Evaluator:** The General Evaluator provides an overall assessment of the meeting, highlighting what went well and offering suggestions for improvement. They may also evaluate the evaluators' performance.
**Awards and Recognitions:** Toastmasters sessions often conclude with awards and recognitions, including the Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, and Best Table Topics Speaker. These awards encourage members to strive for excellence in their speaking and leadership abilities.
**Closing:** The meeting concludes with closing remarks from the Toastmaster of the Day, who may express gratitude to participants and encourage them to continue their Toastmasters journey.
**Networking and Socialising:** After the formal meeting, members and guests often have the opportunity to network, socialise, and discuss their experiences in a more relaxed setting.

Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
