Suzhou Creek and North Bund Walking Tour Come with me for a stroll along my favorite part of Suzhou Creek and North Bund, passing numerous historical sites and culture landmarks while enjoying some natural peace and quiet at the same time. The entire route is about 5 kilometers long and aims to lead participants in reading architecture, appreciating culture, and engaging with history and meet and greet new friends on the tour.. Suzhou Creek, the biggest tributary of the Huangpu, runs through central areas of the city and stretches from the Outer Ring to the Bund. Suzhou creek waterfront has been revitalized in recent years to provide uninterrupted walking paths, new gardens and ample resting areas. The riverbanks in Huangpu District, about 3 kilometers from Chengdu Road Bridge to Waibaidu Bridge near the Bund, has become a pedestrian-favored corridor Let us enjoy the enchanting scenery of the Suzhou Creek not only on foot, Waibaidu Bridge （Garden bridge） This is China’s first all-steel bridge and, in Shanghai style, lights up in different colors in the evening. We meet every Weekend afternoon in century park as long as weather is okay. We arrange warm up & practice. We'll work on some throws, passes, & catches. and utimate Frisbee Pickup Game of 7 vs 7 as well. All levels welcome even beginners! If you haven't played before or want to polish your skills, myself and a couple of the more experienced players will be there 30 minutes before to toss, explain the rules and run through a couple drills. David Marsolo is a long time Wild Ones member. He has been maintaining artificial bogs at his suburban Westerville home for about 20 years. Meeting Room 3B, Main Library Join us for a welcoming evening of reflection, gentle music, and meaningful conversation. We’ll begin with a short grounding moment, followed by a brief reading from spiritual or philosophical traditions, and an open reflection circle where participants can share (or simply listen). Libera Animae is an interfaith community focused on inner growth, creativity, and authentic connection. This first gathering is a simple introduction to the spirit of the group and a chance to meet others seeking deeper meaning and community. All backgrounds are welcome.
