Get ready creative writers! Inkwell is proud to announce Reading Club, our latest event for the Shanghai writing community. Reading Club is a low stress literature gathering that meets every other Monday evening. We read through through a short short or essay at the meeting and then discuss it. I don't keep Meetup very up to date and everything Inkwell does is organized through its wechat groups, so even if the number of attendees on meetup is low, there's likely an event still going on. We'll work on some throws, passes, & catches. and utimate Frisbee Pickup Game of 7 vs 7 as well. All levels welcome even beginners! If you haven't played before or want to polish your skills, myself and a couple of the more experienced players will be there 30 minutes before to toss, explain the rules and run through a couple drills. Each session opens with a Soulbits oracle image setting the tone for the gathering we will move through. We will come together to honor the natural rhythms of rooting, rising, releasing, and receiving; the cycles that shape the soul’s journey. Through the four pillars of being: mindset, movement, connection & nourishment, we will create a space where imagery, sensation, and community weave together. Where the body becomes the guide, images act as mirrors, and the soul speaks. This circle is about noticing what rises, honoring what’s true, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself ready to be seen.
