CO-OP Arcade: Games, Pizza, Speed Friending
đź CO-OP Arcade: Giant Controller Kaiju Battle
The city is under attack⊠and only teamwork can save it.
Welcome to CO-OP Arcade, a cooperative arcade experience where team work, strategy, and pizza-as-fuel will lead to success against the game.
This is a players-vs-environment showdown where guests take on classic arcade games⊠with a kaiju-sized twist:
đ The controls are massive, so youâll need to find a partner to play. One pilot handles movement, the other handles actions. Think: two humans, one machine, vs. one giant arcade monster.
đčïž What to Expect
A welcoming, social atmosphere where youâll meet your fellow âdefenders of the cityâ
Unlimited Arcade and Pinball games!
Team-based gameplay on classic arcade titles
Pizza!
Because weâre using classic arcade games, the experience is accessible, nostalgic, and chaotic in the best wayâperfect for all skill levels.
đ How It Works
Teams will fight through multiple rounds to earn points for humanity
After each round, points are added to a shared city defense total
Your fate is tied to the groupâwin together!
đ Rewards for Saving the City
If the group hits certain point milestones, everyone gets rewarded for their bravery đ
Most groups will secure basic rewardsâbut reaching the highest tier will require true heroic coordination.
đ Fuel for the Fight
Your ticket includes pizza from Tony Boloney's, because saving the city burns calories.
Expect a cozy, slightly chaotic hangout vibeâequal parts arcade, team-building, and low-budget monster movie energy.

Nemesis: Retaliation
We will be playing two games of **Nemesis:** **Retaliation** with up to 4 players per game. All experience levels welcome. Expect the game teach to start promptly within the first 10 minutes.
In **Nemesis: Retaliation** players take on the roles of highly trained marines, entering the alien nest with strict orders and the most advanced tools available. But will they be well-prepared enough to face the unrelenting horde that awaits them? Players must survive against overwhelming odds and the possibility of betrayal at every step. This is a semi-cooperative game in which you and your crewmates must survive on a ship infested with hostile organisms. To win the game, you have to complete one of the two objectives dealt to you at the start of the game and survive. You will find many obstacles on your way: swarms of Intruders, the poor physical condition of the ship, agendas held by your fellow players, and sometimes just cruel fate.

Young Professionals Social Club: Nationals Home Game Socials (20s & 30s)
âAre you in your 20s or 30s looking to expand your social circle, grab a drink, and catch some live baseball without breaking the bank? This is the group for you!
âWe are a vibrant community of local young professionals who meet up for every single Nats home game. Whether you are a die-hard baseball fan or just in it for the social scene, youâll fit right in. If the Nats are playing at home, we are there!
âWhat We Are About
âOur events focus on high-energy, low-stress environments. We love utilizing standing room only tickets and affordable season passes to keep things budget-friendly, but regular ticket holders are always welcome!
âStanding room areas (like the outfield bars and concourse decks) give us the freedom to move around, mingle, and actually talk to each otherâno being stuck in a single stadium seat all night.
âEvery Home Game: No guessing when the next meetup is. If there is a game at the stadium, we are gathering.
âSocialize: Meet new friends, network with fellow local professionals, and find your crowd.
âEat & Drink: We always kick things off with pre-game drinks or hang out at the stadium's best social spaces.
âZero Pressure: You donât need to be a baseball expert. Come for the game, stay for the conversations.
âWho Should Join?
âIf you are in your 20s or 30s, live in the area, and want a fun, consistent way to get out after work or on the weekends, hit that "Join" button.
âCheck the schedule, grab your tickets, and we'll see you at the ballpark!

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
â©We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that.
We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
â©Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
â©Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
â©Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 WondersâŠ
â©Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, WerewordsâŠ
â©IMPORTANT:
â©1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
â©2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you havenât come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code - Alan Barber

**Abstract**
*Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code*
Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs.
In this session, weâll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. Weâll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling.
The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. Weâll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options.
