You can register on [https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-business-networking-at-mayfair-hay-hill-for-directors-entrepreneur-tickets-1976442001230?aff=meetup](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-business-networking-at-mayfair-hay-hill-for-directors-entrepreneur-tickets-1976442001230?aff=meetup)**
Join an in‑person business networking evening at 12 Hay Hill in Mayfair, London, on 5 January 2025 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Join leading **entrepreneurs, investors, company directors, and business professionals** for an exclusive networking experience in Mayfair. Hosted at the prestigious Hay Hill private members club, this London Connector event brings together high-level decision-makers to build meaningful relationships, explore new opportunities, and grow their network in a premium setting. Connect with like-minded leaders, spark collaborations, and enjoy a powerful evening designed to elevate your business.
## **Our unique venue is:**
Set in a stunning six-story building at **Berkeley Square, Hay Hill** is unique as it combines the luxury of a private members club with the business focus of a co-working environment, pioneering the concept of the club working, all in the heart of Mayfair.
For our event, we have reserved an area of the venue with a cash bar, so that we can mix and mingle and meet old and new friends, new contacts, and, why not, new clients too!
## **Program**
The format of the evening is 'mix and mingle', meet like-minded business leaders and entrepreneurs and investors in a relaxed environment. Our team is onsite to facilitate meaningful introductions. We connect at a human-to-human level, and prefer building relationships.
## **How many people are attending?**
We have a **maximum capacity of 80 guests** for this venue and given the popularity of our events and the nature of the venue that hosts us, **this one is predicted to be sold out in advance also because on average for each event we run 30-40 places are booked by our members who have joined the yearly membership. Early booking is truly and highly recommended.**
The reason the events we organize are so successful is that we follow a very simple, but effective formula. A couple of days before the event **we create a WhatsApp group with those attendees who wish to start getting to know each other**. This allows each participant to set up meetings with those they wish to meet during (or even before) the event. On the day of the event, you will find a relaxed environment, and a welcoming and supportive crowd.
**Our team will be at the venue to introduce you to anybody specific you'd like to talk to.**
Guests will have access to the part of the Club reserved for our event, but not to other private areas of Hay Hill Club. You can book a private tour though.
**Dress code: business casual (no trainers, no jeans)**
**Refund policy. Tickets bought in advance are generally cheaper than those bought on the day of the event and for this reason cannot be refunded. They can be reassigned to another person of your choice.**
**Event Disclaimer**
Please note that photos and videos may be taken during this event. These may be used on our social media channels and promotional materials to showcase our events.
If you prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, please inform the event host upon arrival, and we will ensure your preference is respected.

National Gallery Picture Hunt
Please register with the Gallery and pre-book your visit. This lets you enter quicker, bypassing any walk-ups queue. Aim to turn up for 1pm.
**We now meet outside the Sainsburys entrance further down, as the Gallery have issues with payments being taken inside the building. I’ll be wearing a red Meetup cap. If you’re late, we’ll be in rooms 27-32.**
The National Gallery was founded in 1824, after the British government bought a collection of 38 pictures from the banker and collector John Julius Angerstein, consisting of Italian, Dutch and English works.
We have a unique take on Treasure Hunts that broadens your art knowledge while sleuthing around gallery rooms.
You are all presented with a sheet of 20 part images taken from paintings in a few adjoining designated rooms.
You will also have a map of the Gallery. The selected adjoining rooms are listed P, Q, R and S. The clipboard holder enters the room letter to note the image location.
Your collective mission is to find them. Usually it’s groups of three to four depending on numbers.
Or bring a team of up to three guests with you! Check previous winners and Hunt sheet in the pics below.
Dead simple, right? Well, yes, if you can spot them all. Generally though, results are always close.
Check photos for the previous Hunt sheet. If you’re new, you can see what your team has to do. Stella said " I was apprehensive about trying this, but once I did, I loved it, our team was great fun".
We are a happy and friendly group whose membership for some now goes back ten years.
It’s very addictive wandering around looking at famous artwork. Our events make you see new parts of a painting you hadn’t noticed before. Or that fresh work has been introduced.
We’ve done quite a few in the last two years and feel very much at home here. There's plenty of seating around to take the odd rest and look at the same time.
Our Treasure Hunts are interesting and challenging, bringing out the best of your teams detecting skills.
**Just to repeat: Please pre-book if possible. You know it makes sense!**
We meet outside by the Sainsburys entrance. Look out for me under a red Meetup cap!
The starting process is as follows. The earlier your team sets off, the more time you have. So turning up early ready for a 1.30 start is a bonus.
Team answer sheets have to be back by 3.15.
We meet back in the area next to the Espresso cafe where we mark up. In case of a tiebreak, there will be a general art knowledge numerical question where the “nearest to” wins.
First team prizes are interesting varieties of chocolate. There is also a prize for the funniest/outrageous team name judged by Sue, my glamorous assistant.
So there’s everything to play for. Some players are thinking of team names before they turn up!
We always pop into the local Montague Pyke Wetherspoon or the Chandos across the road for a quick drink after if anybody so wishes.
Hunts are good fun and the proven experience so far is that members get to know each other better after working in teams as you all have to communicate. Great icebreakers. This is what Meetup is all about. Come and join us.
**There is a £7 cash/card charge on the day. I supply a pen and clipboard but it helps you to bring a pen as well to mark your own sheets.**
**Rucksacks now have to be worn front of body.** Items left in the cloakroom are charged at £3 per item.
Contact number on the day is 07422334411 if your transport is delayed. If texting leave your name.
**Don’t forget to cancel via the “Edit RSVP” button if you can’t make it. Please do this well in advance when you know, so it allows good notice for someone else to take your place, and minimizes waiting time for non-attendees.**
**Your consideration is greatly appreciated.**

The café is run by a group of volunteers from [The Globe Church](https://www.globe.church).

Find Love Offline Align To Conscious Connection
***Less Apps, More Alignment - Finding Love Offline Workshop***
If you've found yourself declaring again: 'RIGHT, I'm not doing it like this anymore, there HAS to be another way...' we understand the frustration, and we can assure you that there is, and we want to show it to you!
[Sophie](https://www.lovecollectiveglobal.com/post/meet-sophie-french-your-coach-for-real-love) can help you identify and release the unique blocks you have to love, so you’re no longer repeating patterns that don’t serve you.
You don’t need another app. You don’t need to “try harder.” You don’t need to shrink yourself, play games, or settle.
***What you do need is alignment.***
Because when you’re rooted in yourself - confident, grounded, clear on your desires, free from the old blocks that have been running the show - love stops feeling like a guessing game. It becomes a natural extension of who you are.
That’s what Aligned to Love will give you.
**This workshop is for you if...**
* You’re fed up with the endless cycle of downloading, deleting, and re-downloading dating apps… it’s draining your energy, and you’re over it.
* You’re tired of second-guessing yourself on dates, wondering if you’re “too much” or “not enough,” instead of feeling grounded and confident in who you are.
* You’ve done so much work on yourself already - but when it comes to love, it feels like there’s still some invisible block keeping it just out of reach.
* You’re exhausted by drama-filled dating, repeating the same patterns, and attracting people who aren’t aligned with what you truly want.
Deep down, you know the love you’re longing for is possible - but right now, the whole process feels more like pressure and rejection than joy and possibility.
In the Aligned to Love workshop, you’ll discover how:
\~ Regulating your nervous system can stop dating feeling like a rollercoaster, and how you can show up calm, clear, and magnetic.
**Attracting the love you desire.**
\~ Ways to feel rooted in yourself - confident, grounded, and unshakable - so you stop outsourcing your worth to how a date goes.
\~ Identify and release the unique blocks you have to love, so you’re no longer repeating patterns that don’t serve you.
\~ Simple shifts to understand and rewire your mind and heart for the love you long for - and finally see how much more influence you have over your love life than you’ve ever been told.
🗓️ 6th January, Tuesday
⏲️ 6pm - 7:30 pm GMT

KindSteps – Simple Walk & Conversations (Greenwich Park)
This is a simple, relaxed walk through Greenwich Park for anyone who’d like to slow down, get some fresh air, and connect with others in a natural, pressure-free way.
There’s no agenda, no expectations, and no need to be outgoing. You’re welcome to talk, listen, or just walk quietly — whatever feels right for you. This walk is especially suited for people who are introverted, new to social groups, or simply looking for gentle connection.
We’ll walk together for around 50–60 minutes at an easy pace.
After the walk, there will be an optional café stop nearby for anyone who’d like to continue chatting — completely optional.
T is for…Thirst: In Search of Freshwater 🌊
_Thousands have lived without love, not one without water._ - W.H. Auden
Join us on **Sunday 11th January** at ***[Thirst: In Search Of Freshwater](https://wellcomecollection.org/exhibitions/thirst-in-search-of-freshwater)***, a **FREE** exhibition at the Wellcome Collection on Euston Road.
*Thirst* explores humanity’s ancient, urgent and intimate relationship with freshwater.
With only 3% of the world’s water being freshwater, this exhibition dives into how our bodies, communities and ecosystems depend on this precious resource, and what happens when we mismanage it.
Travelling from ancient Mesopotamia to Victorian London, and from Nepal to Singapore, Thirst brings together 125 fascinating objects, including historical artefacts, contemporary materials, environmental data, and artworks.
Expect:
💧 Exquisite medieval water-filtering vessels carved with animals and inscribed with words of wisdom
💧 A Mesopotamian wedding blanket whose floral patterns reappear in a modern wastewater garden design
💧 Atmospheric photographs and films revealing communities’ relationships with water
💧 Striking large-scale models showing the impact of groundwater depletion in global megacities
Immerse yourself in a sweeping story of culture, climate, health and survival, and our shared future.
