AI & Dinner - Luxembourg’s AI Minds Turn AI Conversations Into Real Connections
**AI & Dinner - In-person gathering in Luxembourg** Hey there! Join us for another **in-person evening** in Luxembourg where AI enthusiasts come together to chat, share ideas, and enjoy great food. Whether you're a pro or just curious about artificial intelligence, this is the perfect chance to connect and exchange with like-minded people. Our next dinner will take place on **Tuesday, 2nd June at 19h00**, at **Partigiano,** [14 Rue de Strasbourg, 2560 Gare Luxembourg](https://www.google.com/maps/place//data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x479549b67ce2327d:0x749454f4f157caed?sa=X&ved=1t:8290&ictx=111). *(Private Big Tables reserved)* See you there! **AI & Dinner** is the seated, more intimate format of the **AI & Coffee** community — designed for deeper conversations and real connection around the table. This will be a dinner where we all sit together and **switch places at during the middle of the event**, so everyone gets the chance to meet the full table, connect, and discover new stories. To preserve a great group dynamic, this gathering is **limited to 20 people**. You’re welcome to bring friends if you’d like. The goal is simple: enjoy dinner together, exchange ideas, value, updates about AI, and meet the people behind this growing community. After our AI & Coffee meetups and previous dinners, many meaningful connections have already formed — and this format is where they really deepen. 🍽️ **We’ll gather for conversations about:** • AI news, trends, tools, and real use cases • Personal projects, ideas, and feedback • Supporting each other’s personal or entrepreneurial journeys • Strengthening Luxembourg’s AI community 👥 **Who’s welcome?** Developers, entrepreneurs, investors, students, researchers, creatives — and anyone curious about AI who enjoys thoughtful conversation and meeting new people. 💡 **What to expect** • A friendly, open dinner atmosphere • Circulating seats throughout the courses • Great conversations, new perspectives, and genuine connections • No pressure, no presentations — just good people and meaningful exchange **🎉 The only cost is your dinner.** Bring your curiosity, your appetite, and your good energy — and join us for an evening of conversation and connection. 🗓️ *AI & Dinner happens once per month on Tuesdays*.

Circle by AI & Coffee - In-Person Meetup in Luxembourg
⚡ **Circle** by **AI & Coffee — Luxembourg's In-Person AI Community** AI is moving faster than any of us can keep up with alone. The best way to make sense of it — and stay ahead of it — is by getting in the same room as people who are just as obsessed with it as you are. That is exactly what AI & Coffee is about. We are bringing together Luxembourg's most curious, creative and driven minds for an afternoon of open, honest and energising conversations about artificial intelligence — not in theory, but in practice. No slides. No pitches. No pressure. Just real people, real ideas and real connections over great coffee. ☕🤖 *** 📅 **Sunday 7 June \| 15:00 – 17:00** 📍 **Haerz,** [44 Grand-Rue, 1660 Ville-Haute Luxembourg](https://www.google.com/maps/place//data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x47954fcdf0e202e1:0x46088203fe8a3611?sa=X&ved=1t:8290&ictx=111) *** ☕ **What we will talk about** AI & Coffee is an open conversation — guided by curiosity and driven by the people in the room. WIN AI — meet-up #3 | AI community for women in Luxembourg
WIN AI — meet-up #3 | AI community for women in Luxembourg
**If building with AI feels intimidating, this meet-up is for you. If it doesn't, come watch another woman build her app.** For our third WIN AI meet-up, we're trying something new. Until now, we've looked at how women in our community use AI applications in their work and life. This time, we're looking at someone building one. Aisling McCaffrey is working on a social media posting app. Think of it as a stripped-down Canva plus Buffer. She'll walk us through the concept, some of the Claude skills she's been using to improve it, how she hosts it, and what she's learned along the way. It's not a tutorial. Just a real look at what it's like to build something with AI. After the demo, we open it up. What questions does this raise for you? What would you want to build if you had the time? And the usual: where is WIN AI going, and what do you want from it. Come as you are. Bring your curiosity and your half-formed ideas, especially the ones you haven't said out loud yet. 📅 Wednesday\, 3 June\, 7:00 PM 📍 House of Startups \| 9\, rue du Laboratoire\, Luxembourg City

Drunken Philosophy: Are you really who you think you are? What is the "self"?
Drunken Philosophy: Are you really who you think you are? What is the "self"?
I have been studying the question of "self" online with Prof. Ellie Anderson and so I thought a prompt on the "self" might be interesting. Full confession: I had Claude create this prompt and I like it, so here goes: Imagine a thought experiment that merges two classic puzzles: > You undergo a procedure, performed neuron by neuron, in which every biological component of your brain is replaced with a functionally identical synthetic substitute. At each step, your behavior, memories, and personality remain unchanged. When the last neuron is swapped, is the consciousness experiencing the world still you? And — more pressingly — was there ever a continuous "you" to begin with? ### Questions to Wrestle With * If consciousness is purely physical, does the *gradual* nature of the replacement matter, or is it equivalent to being destroyed and rebuilt? * Could there be a "self" without continuity of experience — even moment to moment, while you sleep? On a more practical level, consider the simpler case first: **hemispherectomy** patients — people who have had an entire cerebral hemisphere surgically removed — often retain a strong sense of personal identity and continuity. This suggests "you" are not rigidly tied to specific physical material. But does that vindicate the synthetic neuron case, or merely show that identity is more *flexible* than we thought — not that it can survive *complete* substrate replacement? I used Claude so I could get this out today and let everyone have some time to consider it. Hope to see you at the Oracle. Sorry about the location change two weeks ago. That's what I get for trusting local weather predictions!
