Dear All, Let's celebrate Europe on the European Day! Experience Europe has a special event with guided tours etc. AND Food Trucks! So same procedure as last year ! Welcome to the yearly Mullerthal megaloop trails. Everybody can do as much as they want from them, the estimated time of completion for all individual loops are ~10 hours. The start time and location for Mullerthal 1/2 are adjusted to be exactly the same. Those who miss them can still join route 3 which intersects with route 2 at the famous waterfall (Schiessentümpel), those who miss them all see you in 2027 as these hikes will not be repeated this year. Hello Friends! Jörg is always hungry, and we all want to go out for a nice walk. This weekend, we can kill 2 birds with one stone! There is an ostrich farm (Straußenfarm, ferme d'autruches) in Contern, and this weekend they are open to the public for the "Straussefest", Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm. We're going to start in Contern near the "Hall Sportif" and do the "Guttland Trail Contern" with a little extension into the Dalheim forest. After around 8km we will stop for the lunch break, but don't eat too much, Jörg promised that there will be ostrich available at the finish line. At least some pâté and salami, I heard, and you can buy ostrich meat for your next barbecue. **Meeting Point:** We will meet at the "Hall Sportif" in Contern. Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs. This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context. We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy.
