Nos encontraremos para leer y escribir en un taller coordinado por la escritora Daniela Trabuchi.

Te sumergirás en la magia de la improvisación a través de juegos y ejercicios dinámicos. Aprenderás a afinar tu atención y mejorar tu capacidad de escucha, desarrollarás la habilidad de crear y aceptar propuestas, y dominarás la creación de espacios y personajes. Conocerás el emocionante mundo del Match de Improvisación y los juegos de impro, un formato que ofrece infinitas posibilidades para aprender mientras te diviertes. I serà la nostra guia local, única guia a Sarajevo que pot fer visites en català sent autòctona d’aquest país… Sarajevo és una ciutat de contrastos i harmonia, on Orient i Occident es troben en l’arquitectura, l’esperit i la vida quotidiana. Començarem el nostre recorregut en la majestuosa Vijećnica (Antic Ajuntament), i endinsan’t-nos en l’animada “Baščaršija”, el basar antic ple de sons, aromes i tradició. Passejarem per el “carrer dels calderers”, entrarem en l’històric “Morica Han” i explorarem les restes de l’antic “Tašlihan”. Descobrirem en el lloc de l’atemptat de 1914, al costat del Pont Llatí, on la història va canviar per sempre. També hi haura temps per coneixer el mosaic religiós de Sarajevo: la Catedral del Sagrat Cor, la Església Ortodoxa, la Antiga Sinagoga jueva i la imponent Mesquita de Gazi Husrev-bey. Al llarg de la simbòlica línia Meeting of Cultures, sentirem el veritable esperit de convivència. **✔** Dinar per lliure. **✔** A la tarda, ens aproparem fins a la Galeria 11/07/95, el primer museu/galeria memorial de Bòsnia i Hercegovina: un espai d’exposicions que pretén preservar la memòria de la tragèdia de Srebrenica i de les 8.372 persones que van perdre la vida tràgicament durant el genocidi. Una visita que cal fer per entendre part de la història, una visita obligada a Sarajevo, en aquesta gal·leria podrem escoltar i veure la història explicada d’una manera oberta, sensible i propera. Un museu per comprendre tot el que va ocorrer a Bosnia y Herzegovina en els anys 90. **✔** Temps lliure fins l’hora de sopar per gaudir d’aquesta zona próxima a l’hotel, fer compres, prendre algo o simplement passejar pels seus carrers. **✔** Tornada a l’hotel i sopar. **Dia 24 JUNY** **✔** Esmorçar a l’hotel i avui ens toca excursió a Herzegovina! Una excursió de tot el dia per gaudir de Konjic, Blagaj, i sobretot Mostar! En aquesta jornada, farem una excursió a on podrem gaudir d’Herzegovina, amb la nostra guia local i el nostre bus privat. En aquest cas, farem petites parades a Konjic i Blagaj i per últim ens centrarem en Monstar, una ciutat declarada Patrimoni de la Humanitat per la UNESCO. La històrica ciutat de Mostar, enfilada a la part alta de la vall del riu Neretva, és una antiga ciutat fronterera otomana que es va desenvolupar en els segles XV i XVI. Entre els segles XIX i XX va pertànyer a l’Imperi Austrohongarès. Mostar és famosa per les seves antigues cases turques i per el “Stari Most” (Pont vell), del qual rep el seu nom. **✔** Dinar a Monstar (inclós al viatge) **✔** Temps lliure i tornada a l’hotel a sopar. **Dia 25 JUNY** **✔** Esmorçar a l’hotel i avui, encara que es l’últim dia, aprofitarem el dia completament! Comencem amb un passeig fins a arribar a agafar el telefèric de Trebević, perquè ens dirigim a visitar la muntanya de Trebevíc! Trebević és una muntanya emblemàtica situada prop de Pale, Bòsnia i Hercegovina, famosa per les seves impressionants vistes de Sarajevo i els seus voltants. Aquesta muntanya, que va aconseguir notorietat durant els Jocs Olímpics d’Hivern de 1984, ofereix una combinació única de bellesa natural i activitats a l’aire lliure. Aixi que podrem gaudir d’un petit passeig per aquesta muntanya i gaudir de les explicacions de la Lejla! **✔** Dinar per lliure **✔** Recollida amb el nostre bus i farem una ruta panoramica fins la nostra propera parada, el Tunel de l’esperança, a on gaudirem d’una visita guiada. Construït en secret i amb recursos limitats durant mesos, aquest corredor subterrani estratègic no sols transportava aliments, combustible, medicines i subministraments essencials, sinó que també oferia un camí cap a la llibertat per a milers de civils i va permetre que la ciutat assetjada mantingués viva la fe. **Saturday, June 27th at 18:00.** Welcome to another wonderful event at [Backstory] Bookshop, celebrating poetry, storytelling, and music! 🎙️Gypsy Lounge is a monthly open mic and a vibrant celebration of diversity, creativity, and connection. Whether you’re eager to share your latest work or simply soak up the atmosphere of artistic expression, Gypsy Lounge is your space. Artist sign-ups will take place on the evening of the event. Just come by at around 17:45, on the evening of the open mic. The first 8 artists will get to sign up. Each artist will have up to 7 minutes to perform or share their work (or up to 2 songs). A gentle reminder for attendees: The beauty of an open mic is the unpredictability of content. As we do not moderate performer choices, some material may be best suited for adult ears. Feel free to jump into working on your own writing project immediately, or wait until the quiet time starting at 5:30. at 5 pm for a bit of writer chat, before diving into an hour and a half of focused writing time. At 7, we head to a nearby bar to discuss how it all went.

✍️ ¡BCN Escribe estrena nuevo taller! SOBREMESA DE ESCRITURA EN COMPAÑÍA ¡Bienvenido a nuestra **sobremesa de escritura**! No importa si tienes experiencia o si acabas de empezar. Todo lo que necesitas es algo para escribir y ganas de pasar un rato agradable compartiendo tu interés por las palabras. Sobremesa de Escritura es un espacio para escribir sin prisa, compartir el silencio creativo y dejar que las palabras encuentren su camino. Durante tres horas nos reuniremos para crear en compañía, en un entorno tranquilo y acogedor. La sesión comenzará con una consigna o una lectura que sirva como disparador creativo. A partir de ahí, cada participante desarrollará su propio texto a su ritmo. Durante toda la tarde habrá palabras, ejercicios, libros y otros materiales de apoyo para quienes necesiten un impulso, una pausa o un cambio de rumbo. Al final del encuentro compartiremos la lectura de uno o dos textos elegidos por sorteo y cerraremos la sesión con un breve espacio para comentarios y preguntas. This meetup is for anyone—anyone at all—who enjoys playing around with words. You’ll be given a prompt (usually one word, such as “playground” or “shiver”) and time to express yourself in writing in response to it. Anything goes: prose, poetry, lists, letters, lyrics; any form which calls to you and demands expression. After we have finished writing, you will be invited to share your piece with the group (totally optional, but the feedback can be fun). The feedback (this is the only part with rules): Responses should be in the form of what stayed with you, what you remembered from the piece, what resonated with you. This is NOT a writing or craft class; there is no good or bad here. Critiques or suggestions miss the point. This is new, tender writing, and we honor it as such. All writing is considered fictional. This is liberating for the writer, as you are free to write about literally anything and it will never be considered to be “about you.” The first person is always just a character. Please bring your own writing equipment. It is helpful to come on time so you can hear the prompt and have enough time to write. Please buy a drink or snack from Charcha, our generous host.

Este taller propone trabajar la relación entre política y forma en la literatura latinoamericana a partir de la lectura de fragmentos de Valeria Luiselli, Leila Guerriero, Alejandro Zambra, Elena Poniatowska y César Aira, junto con episodios del podcast 'Las Raras' y el desfile de Moschino sobre Argentina a cargo de Adrian Appiolaza. El eje estará puesto en cómo cada material organiza la experiencia a través de decisiones formales: la construcción de la voz, el uso del archivo, la disposición del relato, el montaje y el lugar desde donde se habla, para pensar la política no como tema sino como modo de configurar lo visible y lo decible. La propuesta incluye un trabajo sostenido de escritura: se ensayarán variaciones de una misma escena con cambios de voz y focalización, reescrituras a partir de materiales documentales, ejercicios de montaje entre registros distintos (crónica, testimonio, ficción), y prácticas que exploren el recorte, la omisión y la disposición del texto en la página. Se buscará que cada participante desarrolle una serie breve en la que ponga a prueba estos procedimientos, atendiendo a cómo la forma produce sentido y modifica la posición del lector. Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
