**US HARDCORE PUNK LEGENDS – FIRST SHOW IN HONG KONG!** Legendary American hardcore punk band Black Flag will make their long‑awaited first show in Hong Kong on 24 May 2026 at The Wanch, presented by The Underground HK. This exclusive “Live in Hong Kong” special will see the band bring their uncompromising energy to a packed Wan Chai club for one night only. Formed in California, USA, Black Flag helped define hardcore punk with their blistering speed, jagged riffs and confrontational lyrics, blazing a trail that influenced punk, metal and alternative bands around the world. Today, founding guitarist Greg Ginn leads a revitalised lineup featuring vocalist Max Zanelly, bassist David Rodriguez and drummer Bryce Weston, a configuration that has injected fresh momentum into the band while staying true to the raw spirit of their early work. Hi there everybody! We invite you all to come enjoy Peng Chau island to our next movie night on 26th of April. This time we will watch our first Hungarian movie. But it will also be the first animated movie we watch. The movie is called 'Son of the White Mare' (1981) from director Marcell Jankovics: In this dreamlike Hungarian folk myth, a horse goddess gives birth to three powerful brothers who set out into the Underworld to save three princesses from three evil dragons and reclaim their ancestors' lost kingdom. The movie will have English subtitles. If you want to watch a Hungarian movie for the first time come and enjoy! We will start the movie at 7pm till 9pm in a terrace in Peng Chau. There is a ferry at 5:50pm from Central Pier N6 and arrives in Peng Chau at 6:30pm. I can meet people at the pier at 6:30pm. Or if you want to spend the day in Peng Chau and meet each other afterwards that's also fine! Please let me know if you are coming beforehand so we can prepare for us to meet and take you to the address. We want to encourage discussion about the movie and its theme afterwards. Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 11 at Streetlight Guild. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. **SCHEDULE:** 6:45ish - Quick introductions 7:00 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour 8:00 - The End **OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens before and after the writing hour. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. **BEING LATE IS OKAY:** just show up and get settled!
