This is the perfect activity for anyone wanting to improve their drawing - you don’t need any experience to join. The session is not tutorial, however our host Mary is more than happy to assist you. Come for another casual gathering and chat with peers in the software & technology community. Bring your smile and relax with a refreshing drink. **Concept** 🍻 It works simple: 1. feel free to arrive and leave at any time during the event 2. get yourself a drink at the bar or convenience store 3. say hi to someone in the group and chat away. **How to find us?** 👀 Bart/Stephen usually wear something that is easy to spot in a crowd. Often it's a bright coloured t-shirt or something orange themed. Have a look at past photos of meetups to recognise him. Moreover, we usually stand close to the bar. **Venue** 📍 **The Beer Bay** is an **outdoor kiosk/bar**, situated at the walkway between the Central Ferry Piers, at the ground level **entrance of Central Ferry Pier #4** (to Lamma Island). There's plenty of space to stand, and various places to get drinks. Usually lots of people in conversation, and an overall casual and relaxed atmosphere. In summer it can get hot and sweaty, and winter a bit cold, but drinks are refreshing and nothing beats that skyline! **Toilets** 🚻 There is a public toilet at the end of the piers near pier 2, or you could walk to the IFC shopping mall nearby. **Drinks** 🍺🍷🍹🥤 The Beer Bay serves refreshing alcoholic drinks, such as cold drafts, wine and plenty of mixers too. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary.
