Moreover, we usually stand close to the bar. **Venue** 📍 **The Beer Bay** is an **outdoor kiosk/bar**, situated at the walkway between the Central Ferry Piers, at the ground level **entrance of Central Ferry Pier #4** (to Lamma Island). There's plenty of space to stand, and various places to get drinks. Usually lots of people in conversation, and an overall casual and relaxed atmosphere. In summer it can get hot and sweaty, and winter a bit cold, but drinks are refreshing and nothing beats that skyline! **Toilets** 🚻 There is a public toilet at the end of the piers near pier 2, or you could walk to the IFC shopping mall nearby. **Drinks** 🍺🍷🍹🥤 The Beer Bay serves refreshing alcoholic drinks, such as cold drafts, wine and plenty of mixers too. Local members of Ohio Paper Folders are invited to our home Fourth of July cookout and fireworks show. This will be on Sat July 4th. This is a four grill (plus a big-ass smoker) cookout with burgers, brats, veggi burgers, salmon burgers, roasted corn and lots of sides (feel free to bring a side). The fireworks show is...huge. 760 mortars plus four tables of multi-shot cakes. (anything worth doing is worth over-doing). We start cooking around 5:00 PM, end when everyone is stuffed. We'll meet at The Capital One Café, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session.
