🏸 Early Morning Badminton
👋Hello folks, this is Manish!
I’m trying to build a daily habit of playing badminton in the early morning, and I’m scheduling this event for anyone who is interested in joining.
🏸 The idea is simple — start the day with energy, fitness, and a good game of badminton before work.
It’s a great way to stay active, refresh your mind, and carry that energy into work and everything else you do. Imagine showing up to work already feeling accomplished, energized, and in a great mood — that’s what a morning like this can do for you!
🌅 There’s something special about early mornings — the fresh air, the quiet, and the satisfaction of doing something great for yourself before the day even begins.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or have never picked up a racket before, you are welcome here. No pressure, just good vibes, friendly competition, and a whole lot of fun.
If you’re interested, feel free to join us! All skill levels are welcome. Let’s make mornings more active and fun! 💪🏸
💰 About the cost — just $5 per person!
That’s less than your morning coffee, and way more rewarding. For just $5, you get a full session of fun, fitness, and great company. It’s one of the best investments you can make in your health and your mornings. 🙌
Let’s build something great together — one morning at a time. See you on the court! 🏸
DIY Chill, Craft & Chat
Join other Gaymers this evening to work on your DIY project with others and show off your work in progress!
Come chat, craft, and work on whatever project you wish! (Or just chill with us!) The only thing you have to do is bring your project, materials, and yourself!
Your host, Nef, is also happy to teach you how to crochet :)
While this event is free, we encourage folks to get some food or drinks if possible! (Only if this is a possibility for you!) We provide nametag stickers with a pronoun field; we want this to be a comfortable environment for everyone, kindly respect people's listed or stated pronouns.
If you are unsure of someone's pronouns, don't assume: Ask, Respect and Practice Definitely ask before taking pictures/videos. \*\*\*Please reach out to [info@torontogaymers.ca](mailto:info@torontogaymers.ca) with any accessibility concerns. **This walking tour explores the fascinating history of Cabbagetown, and the residents who contributed to the history, the arts and sciences and literature of one of Toronto's best known and beloved districts. It is different from the History of Cabbagetown that I run every few months. This could be considered part two!**
Have you ever wondered what life was like in Toronto at the turn of the 20th century when the city was on the edge of becoming modern? A city with its face turned to the future but holding onto the romantic ideas of the industrial revolution and the Victorian age.
Take a step back in time to a world very different from our own, a world of open-air streetcars and horse and buggy, romantic notions, and quaint and quiet days, and boring Sundays. Welcome to the 19th century.
With two historic cemeteries and the Don Valley for inspiration, this walking tour draws on the beauty of the area and outlines some of the important historical sites and will be of interest to anyone who loves domestic Victorian architecture.
This tour begins at the Toronto Public Library Parliament Branch at 269 Gerrard Street East just west of Parliament Street and continues northwards through the Don Vale and the necropolis cemetery on Winchester street. The tour ends a block north of the Winchester Hotel on Parliament Street and Wellesley.
This tour is designed for all walkers and weather conditions. Hope to see you soon.
This tour has a ticket price of $15.00 per person!

Learn to Play Pickleball: beginner & Intermediate drills
Want to learn pickleball in a fun, low-pressure setting? I’m hosting a free beginner-friendly meetup at Olentangy Parklands to help new players learn the basics and get comfortable on the court.
I’m a pretty skilled player and will walk everyone through the essentials, including rules, scoring, serving, basic strategy, and how to start playing real games. No experience needed.
We’ll meet on the upper courts.
Bring a pickleball paddle if you have one. If not, no problem, I’ll have some extras available for people to use.
This event is meant for beginners and anyone curious about trying pickleball for the first time. Come ready to move, learn, and have fun.
