**Talks + Speaker:**
*Talk 1:*
**AI on EKS – Running AI Workloads on Kubernetes**
In this talk, Kevin Nash, Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, introduces AI on EKS, an open-source project from AWS Labs that helps teams deploy and run AI/ML workloads on Amazon EKS using ready-to-use infrastructure blueprints and best practices for scalable AI platforms. The session will give an overview of how platform teams can simplify the deployment, scaling, and operation of AI workloads on Kubernetes.
*Lightning Talk 2:*
**Building Modern Insurance Platforms**
In this lightning talk, Michael Ammann, CTO at simpego, shares how simpego is building modern digital insurance solutions powered by data, automation, and AI/ML. He will give a brief look into how the company uses analytics, telematics, and modern cloud technologies to drive pricing, automation, and scalable insurance services. Michael leads pricing, analytics, and automation initiatives at simpego, focusing on data-driven insurance products and intelligent platform capabilities.
*Talk 3:*
**How to Structure Unstructured Data**
In this talk, Simon Sommer, Cloud Software Engineer at copebit ag, explores practical approaches to turning unstructured data into usable and structured information. Learn programming with Python, Java, Javascript, C(++) or ...
Dies ist ein informelles Treffen für Lernende, die ihre ersten Schritte in der Programmierung machen oder ihre Grundkenntnisse vertiefen möchten.
***
This is an informal meetup, for learners that want to do their first steps in programming or want to consolidate their skills.
We spend one hour and a half working on tutorials, exercises or projects. If you need help to get started, we will help you finding a good way for learning.
You should be prepared to spend your time "doing things": just hanging around and listening might get boring, if all other people are learning on their side.
There are experienced people are around and you can ask questions as soon as their arise or bring with you questions you have had during the week.
During the last half an hour, we do a (simple) exercise together.
We speak German, English, and a few other languages.
Currently, how main programming languages are:
* Python
* Javascript
* Java
* Flutter
* C++
* C
* C#
* PHP
But you're free to learn any programming language during our Co-Learning!
If you want to learn more about our Co-Learning, please have a look at our website (no frequent updates...):

COLD WATER PLUNGE - picnic edition
Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive.
We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards.
The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet no matter the weather.
Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy.
The event is Free.
IMPORTANT:
Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event.
Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.
Franklin Method and Myofascial Training
Be-weekly lessons with experienced practitioner Ingrid Wenger.
We want to consciously experience movement together and give our bodies the attention they need. Everyone participates according to their abilities – together, yet each at their own pace.
We work with balls, bands, music, but above all with our imagination and lots of fun. The training is based on the Franklin Method and Karin Gurtner's Slings Myofascial Training. The goal is to increase your physical well-being and open up a new connection to your body. It's wonderful to discover that you already possess many tools within yourself to enhance your quality of life. Simple and without much effort.

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
