There is no judgement of films here. A-movie, B-movie, high-brow, low-brow, smart, dumb. This will be an open-discussion. There’ll be themes and certain films chosen but respectful interruptions and questions will be welcome throughout. To paraphrase Bong Joon-ho, once you overcome your knee-jerk judgement of a film, you can be introduced to so many more amazing films. This is a new meetup and the format may change. But for now, we will not show whole films at the event. Instead they will be announced beforehand and then discussed with clips at the event. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. This group is dedicated to sharing kindness, resources, and support with individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances.
