Toronto Dating Games Singles Game Night - Play Fun & Easy Social Icebreaker Games And Match With People You're Interested In Seeing Again!
**\* AGE RANGE: 20s, 30s & 40s \***
A Dating Games Singles Game Night is a revolutionary new event that is changing the way singles meet. It's a fun new twist on speed dating! Let's face it, we're all tired of the endless online swiping on dating apps and this event is the perfect way to meet other singles in real life.
**HOW THE EVENT WORKS...**
\- At each Dating Games Singles Event event we book a reserved area with some tables at a cool bar with a great vibe
\- After you get your ticket we give you the event reservation name\.\.\. When you arrive you just tell the venue host the reservation name and you'll be directed to the event area where you'll get to meet the other fun singles who are also looking to meet new people\.
\- You'll be playing fun and easy icebreaker games to get to know everyone\.
\- After the event you'll be a able to login to our app where you'll be able to select the people you'd like to stay in touch with \(scroll down for more details about how that works\)\.
\- We usually have between 12 and 20 people at each event\. The amount of people varies from event to event but you'll definitely get to meet a good amount of people without being overwhelmed by a huge crowd\. We keep the events fairly small and intimate so you really get to know everyone and make real connections\.
\- Our host will walk you through the event via video on your phone \(so there's no awkward check in process or silly name tags\)
\- The coolest part about the event is that no one else at the venue will even know you're at a singles event\. It will just look like a group of friends having fun around a table\!
\- During the fun icebreaker games you can order cocktails \(or non\-alcoholic mocktails\) to get everyone talking and then move into the games \(feel free to order food/appetizers if you'd like to as well\. Everyone pays for their own tab at the venue\)
*\*\* QUICK NOTE: WE WILL BE RAISING THE TICKET PRICE EVERY FEW DAYS AND BECAUSE WE LIMIT THE SPOTS AVAILABLE, THE EVENT WILL VERY LIKELY SELL OUT BEFORE THE EVENT TIME GRAB YOUR TICKET ASAP TO MAKE SURE YOU GET A SPOT. \*\**
**WHAT ARE THE ICEBREAKER GAMES ALL ABOUT?**
You'll be playing fun games like "Friendly Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and the other singles at the table will be asked fun questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will try to come up with the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another popular game we sometimes play is Blank Slate where you have to try to guess the most popular fill in the blank answer to questions like, _________ TIME . You'd have to try to come up with the most popular answer... is it PARTY TIME? Is it NIGHT TIME? Or maybe it's SHOWTIME.
**HERE'S THE REALLY COOL PART!**
This event has led to countless relationships and new friendships formed because after the event you'll be able to stay in touch with the people you met at the event by reaching out and contacting them on our app. After the event is over we allow you to login to the app and **swipe on the people you'd like to stay in touch with!** It's similar to a dating app but you'll have actually met and mingled with the people in person before deciding if you want to match and stay in touch with them! After you get your ticket you'll be able to upload a photo of yourself on our webpage (only viewable by the other event attendees). After you sign up you will get an email from us with instructions on how to upload your photo to our app/webpage. It's the perfect way to meet someone, merging new technology and good old fashioned meeting in real life!
*A message we received about one of our recent events: "I had a great time at the event. The people were really friendly and the games were a lot of fun. It was a refreshing change of pace from the dating apps" - Leah*

FAQ:
CAN I PAY AT THE VENUE DOOR?
We do not accept payment at the venue. You must pre-pay and get your ticket online.

The Test Tribe 12th Toronto Meetup – AI as a Force Multiplier for QE Leaders
Most AI discussions in testing revolve around generating test cases or accelerating automation.
But for Quality Engineering leaders, the real opportunity is much bigger.
AI is not just a tool for execution - it’s a force multiplier for decision-making. It can synthesize fragmented data, reveal hidden patterns, connect siloed systems, and elevate quality from reporting metrics to driving strategy.
At the 12th Toronto Meetup, we shift the conversation from tactical AI usage to strategic quality intelligence - and what that means for modern QE leadership.
**Event Details**
* Date: March 25th, 2026
* Time: 06:00 PM – 09:00 PM EST
* Venue: 688 Richmond St. W. (3rd floor)
Session: AI as a Force Multiplier for QE Leaders
Speaker: Puneet Randhawa, Director of Quality Engineering, StackAdapt
About the Session
While AI can generate tests and automation scripts, its greatest value for QE leaders lies in connecting the dots.
In this session, Puneet shares practical, real-world ways QE leaders can use AI to:
* Connect data from Jira, CI pipelines, Slack, monitoring tools, and more through MCP servers
* Build custom GPTs for defect trend analysis and regression intelligence
* Transform raw dashboards into actionable, forward-looking insights
This talk focuses on operating at a higher strategic altitude - shifting from tracking metrics to building systems that generate clarity, alignment, and informed decision-making.
If you’re leading QE in a fast-moving organization, this session will help you rethink how AI can amplify your impact.
**Key Takeaways**
* How QE leaders can use AI to connect siloed quality data into meaningful insights
* Practical examples of MCP servers and custom GPTs in QE workflows
* How to transition from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-driven leadership
* Ways to elevate quality from operational support to strategic advantage
**About the Speaker**
Puneet Randhawa is the Director of Quality Engineering at StackAdapt, with over 15 years of experience building and scaling QE teams in high-growth tech environments.
She is passionate about transforming quality from a support function into a strategic differentiator - leveraging data, automation, and now AI to enable smarter decisions and stronger outcomes.
Puneet actively mentors emerging QE leaders and shares practical insights from the field, focusing on how modern quality engineering can influence business strategy and organizational impact.
**Why You Should Attend**
* Gain a leadership-level perspective on AI in quality engineering
* Learn how to leverage AI beyond automation use cases
* Discover practical methods to turn metrics into intelligence
* Connect with Toronto’s QE and technology leaders
* Be part of The Test Tribe’s 12th Toronto Meetup

Watercolour Painting Meetup
Join us for a relaxed and creative watercolour meetup at a local café. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced painter, all skill levels are welcome.
Each session will begin with brief introductions, followed by a short overview of watercolour techniques and optional theme ideas to spark inspiration. From there, you’re free to settle in and paint—either alongside the group or in your own corner of the café, depending on seating.
We’ll wrap up the meetup by coming back together for a casual show-and-tell, where anyone who’d like can share their work.
The meetup is free if you bring your own supplies. If you need materials, a $5 fee will cover basic watercolour supplies.
Come unwind, experiment, and connect with others through art.
Better Disagreement

Arguing about important things doesn’t usually lead to people changing their mind. Double Crux is a technique for making discussions more productive and understanding the actual reasoning of those who disagree with us. Sometimes it even helps to better understand the foundations of your own beliefs. Together, we'll learn about [Double Crux](https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/ya59PtGeYnCG25eWn/double-crux-in-a-box), and then break into pairs with someone we disagree with to practice finding out why our views are different and what might change our minds.
## Location
Enter the Mars Atrium via University Avenue entrance. We'll meet at the food court in the basement. I'll be wearing a bright neon yellow jacket.
## Detailed Directions to the Food Court
Enter from University Avenue and walk east until you see escalators. Take the escalators down. The food court is to the east of the escalators. If you are lost/confused, ask a security guard to direct you to the food court.

Fun & easy way to play more tennis (please read event description for details)
We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun!
Also, if you’re looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you aren’t already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what we’re all about and sign up:
https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/toronto-ON/meetup/
If you love tennis, we’d love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works.
Happy hitting!

Testing LLM Cooperation in Multi-Agent Simulation
This is a ticketed event. Please register at [this link](https://luma.com/lpikw708).
Ryan Faulkner explores various papers that address cooperation and safety in multi-agent LLM simulations. Some of the core topics will include:
* Moral behaviour of agents in high-stakes, zero-sum, and morally charged social dilemmas
* Governance and sanctioning dynamics and the ways that LLM agents often fail to cooperate and free-ride in common-pool resource game
* Mechanism design interventions like mediation, contracts, and elected leadership are explored to steer agents toward safer outcomes.
This research also reveals that LLMs adapt their behavior based on awareness of their conversational partner's identity.
**Event Schedule**
6:00 to 6:30 - Food and introductions
6:30 to 7:30 - Presentation and Q&A
7:30 to 9:00 - Open Discussions

Mob Programming at Mofer Coffee
Let’s do some coding together at a cafe! No more working alone in the weekend. Here, we write code together. And I mean together together. Not occupying-the-same-space-but-separate together.
Here’s how it works: Jennifer brings her mobile app project, tells everyone that it is like Pinterest for recipes and she’d like to work on the nav bar. Paul and Chloe think Jennifer's project is fascinating, and they join the group. They gather around Jennifer’s laptop and work on the nav bar for 2 hours. Jennifer is the one typing out the code while Paul and Chloe research, brainstorm, and offer suggestions.
If you’re feeling stuck on your own project or need a motivation boost, bring it to mob programming!
Want to learn by watching how others code and solve problems? Join someone else’s project at this event!
Oh and we love your half-done projects that you are a bit embarrassed to share. Absolutely bring those to the event!
**Discord**:
We use Discord to share screen & code snippets during the event. Also feel free to share your projects here before the event!
https://discord.gg/yvAGbh4PpD
**Event policy**:
* We have 0 tolerance for harassment.
* We don’t allow the projects that are not meant to be shared in public such as school assignments, interview tasks, or trade secrets.
* The goal is to write code. We discourage you from pitching business ideas here, doing code reviews, or spending the whole event on planning what to do.
* Please buy a drink, and tip the barista well.

# FAQs
**Do all ideas have a chance at getting funded?**
Not all ideas will move forward after initial pitches on Saturday. Once pitches are complete, we’ll vote for top ideas and form teams around the 4 – 7 ideas with the most votes. You must recruit **at least four total team members** (including the founder) to move forward and have a chance at getting funded on Sunday. If your idea doesn’t move forward, you can join another team!
**Do I have to submit my idea online prior to the event?**
Unlike previous years, we don’t have the option to submit your idea online prior to the event. Instead, everyone will be going through a brainstorming exercise on Saturday that’ll help you prepare for your initial pitch.
**Will we be working for 24 hours straight?**
Nope. The event is split over two days. You’ll be building on Saturday and pitching on Sunday.
**Do I have to pitch an idea?**
Nope. You can also simply join a team.
**What types of entrepreneurs does GBH support?**
While GBH most often works with technology startups, we support *any* organization (for- or non-profit) that makes an impact on health in the US or across the world.

How to Take Control of YOUR Mental Health
It’s time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind.
Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Here is the secret of being positive and free:
Thinking positively is not enough.
You also have to get rid of the negative thinking.
Your mind is like a garden.
You can plant many beautiful flowers in it, but if you don't get rid of the weeds when you plant your flowers, the weeds will soon take over the whole garden.
A positive thought is like a flower in your mental garden, and a negative thought is like a weed.
You cannot expect to have a positive mindset if you continue to have negative thoughts dwelling and growing there.
So, how do you get rid of the negative thoughts? That's what this Meetup is all about. Attend this local meeting and find out!
The Meetup event will be led by a consultant who had helped many people live happier in life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Dianetics & Scientology life improvement center.
COUNT RMH Housewarmer Volunteering (Ronald McDonald House)
Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process.
Fast track

• Show up and try it out.
• Complete application, etc. later.
Normal process
• Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/).
• Attend orientation in advance.
• At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility.
• Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM.
• Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895).
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
