Starbucks Roastery in Shanghai, the world’s largest and a Flagship for Starbucks. The Roastery is both a factory and store, creating a rich sensorial experience wherein customers can watch and follow the coffee roasting process while sampling a variety of coffee beans and preparation styles from around the world. Historic Zhang's Garden reopens as a boutique destination Zhangyuan, or Zhang's Garden, opened in 1885 as China's first modern pleasure garden, but it later decayed into a neighborhood of dilapidated houses. Its former glory has now been restored in the latest round of urban renewal. Zhang Yuan, a community of hundreds of shikumen (a style featuring Western and Chinese elements) houses in downtown Shanghai's Jing'an district, reopen to the public on Dec 1 2022 after four years of protective renovation.
