Stylized strides dominate this dance, along with periodical sharp and staccato movements. Tango’s passionate nature evokes a strong connection to the music, your partner and the audience, a dance that is exciting and often easy to learn. **For ages 13 and above.** We recommend a comfortable t-shirt and track pants or long pants. Please ensure your attire does not have sharp edges as these might cause unintended injuries to others and yourself. We also recommend you to wear clothes that you can afford to get ruined as there are many contact drills where they could get pulled or warped. We do not have shower facilities at the gym although there is a changing room and toilet at both locations. You can bring a set of spare clothes to change into after class with a towel or wet tissue to clean yourself if you wish. Bottled water is available for purchase at both locations, but you can also bring your own plain water. Besides learning the language, you will also get to make new friends from all around the world. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate and advanced learner, we welcome you. The classical Viennese Waltz is a quick ballroom dance that involves the dancers swirling around the whole dance floor, seemingly without touching the ground. The slightly easier Slow Waltz is a favourite dance among beginners and social dancers. Boxing is a combat sport that utilises punches, footwork, and head movement. Also known as “The Sweet Science”, it is best known for its efficiency of hitting without getting hit. Students will be taught the proper mechanics behind generating fast and powerful punches, as well as evading punches through evasive movements and footwork.
