Cthulhu Mythos & Call of Cthulhu Events This Week
Discover what is happening in the next few days
Weekly Meet Up Friendship Brunch for non-Religious Progressives.
We are meeting at a restaurant this week. Near Anderson Mill and 183.
We have been meeting weekly for 4 years. We meet in Cedar Park or Leander every Sunday and sometimes get together mid-week. We are progressive, non-religious people. Attendance is about 6-10. We generally discuss what is going on in our lives, not as much religion and politics. Most of us deal with religious and conservative folks all week so this is OUR space to be OURSELVES. There are other atheist groups that discuss religion, some discuss politics and some forbid it. If you think our group fits you, text301-213-9533. Location hidden until then.
Slackers Second Sunday Strum
https://www.facebook.com/share/1FGTkBVYac/
Details above for directions.
This is a once monthly event at Slackers Brewing Company. Second Sunday of every Month from 1 Pm to 4 PM. Mostly acoustic song circle where we take turns playing songs while everyone else who wants to plays along. Mostly acoustic because that's most convenient but we do have a bass and pedal steel that get used. All levels welcome.
Example of a few songs below. But we're cool with whatever.

Discovery Wells/Twin Creeks Hike
Let's do a pair of moderate hikes in the Hill Country of NW Travis County. There is some rocky terrain and steep sections but mostly moderate.
First we can hike a couple of miles at Discovery Wells Cave Preserve, then we can go down the road for a couple of scenic miles along the creek at Twin Creeks.
Bring water and hiking boots. Hats are recommended.
Afterwards, we can get a bite to eat at a nearby Mediterranean cafe.
The Sierra Club is not allowed to organize carpools but we highly recommend doing so. Many folks will rendez-vous at the Y in Oak Hill, Central Market on North Lamar, and REI Gateway. If you wish to drive or ride in a carpool, please leave a comment on the meetup page.
Participants must sign a Liability Waiver upon arrival. You may view the waiver document: [https://tinyurl.com/SCSignUpSheet2020](https://tinyurl.com/SCSignUpSheet2020)
