Every second Saturday evening (except March, June, Nov) and fourth Sunday evening (except Dec) of each month in 2026, often with live music. Contra dance has some similarities to bush dance and square dance. It is very popular in the USA, Canada and London. The dances consist of interesting patterns, walked to upbeat music. By popular demand, our Kimchi Making Class is back for Round 2! At 7PM on Sunday 28 June, we’re hosting a small kimchi making class in a private kitchen in Southbank. The session will be led by a Korean chef Asher(기훈) who will guide the process from start to finish, showing a simple and repeatable way to make kimchi at home. During the session, everyone will make their own personal portion of kimchi, following each step together. Apron, gloves, and trays will be provided, so you can join without any preparation. Throughout the process, there will be small tastings, including bossam and makgeolli. At the end of the session, you’ll take home the kimchi you made yourself.
