Este grupo está basado en el trabajo de fusión de la formación actoral y el aprendizaje escénico a través de la creación de un montaje teatral a representar al final del curso en distintos teatros y salas de Barcelona. Se trabajarán temas relacionados con la creación escénica y el trabajo actoral, a la vez que se aprenderá a realizar un montaje teatral con todo el trabajo que ello conlleva delante y detrás del escenario. Aprendiendo a funcionar como una compañía teatral autogestionada. Este curso abre también la posibilidad de realizar más actuaciones y bolos una vez finalizado el curso. Este grupo parte del trabajo del actor creador. Este curso pretende facilitar el descubrimiento y la ejercitación de los hábitos creadores del actor en el alumnado. Se pondrán en práctica todos los aprendizajes actorales para fomentar un trabajo de creación colectiva. Iniciaremos con una investigación interpretativa a través de improvisaciones y propuestas escénicas para llegar a una creación colectiva de varios montajes de microteatro a representar en distintos centros, teatros y salas de Barcelona. Una vez tengamos la propuesta creativa empezaremos a incidir y trabajar en todo lo que es necesario para una creación escénica que se presentará en público. Aprenderemos a realizar un montaje teatral con todo lo que hay delante y detrás del escenario. Partiendo siempre del trabajo de la creación colectiva y de grupo, profundizaremos en el trabajo de personajes, creación, texto y guion. A la vez que se imparten clases de formación actoral y disciplina escénica. Para este grupo es necesaria experiencia previa en teatro. Se trabajará a fondo el análisis de personajes y textos de distintos géneros, para finalmente presentar las escenas. Se incidirá más en el trabajo individual y grupal para mejorar las capacidades actorales. Todo esto intercalado, con clases prácticas y de formación actoral, para poder ir aplicando lo aprendido en las escenas y profundizar en un trabajo más completo. Este taller propone trabajar la relación entre política y forma en la literatura latinoamericana a partir de la lectura de fragmentos de Valeria Luiselli, Leila Guerriero, Alejandro Zambra, Elena Poniatowska y César Aira, junto con episodios del podcast 'Las Raras' y el desfile de Moschino sobre Argentina a cargo de Adrian Appiolaza. El eje estará puesto en cómo cada material organiza la experiencia a través de decisiones formales: la construcción de la voz, el uso del archivo, la disposición del relato, el montaje y el lugar desde donde se habla, para pensar la política no como tema sino como modo de configurar lo visible y lo decible. La propuesta incluye un trabajo sostenido de escritura: se ensayarán variaciones de una misma escena con cambios de voz y focalización, reescrituras a partir de materiales documentales, ejercicios de montaje entre registros distintos (crónica, testimonio, ficción), y prácticas que exploren el recorte, la omisión y la disposición del texto en la página. Se buscará que cada participante desarrolle una serie breve en la que ponga a prueba estos procedimientos, atendiendo a cómo la forma produce sentido y modifica la posición del lector. La propuesta de esta actividad es participar en una visita comentada de la exposición *“Los Nabís: de Bonnard a Vuillard”* que se celebra en la sala de exposiciones de La Pedrera. Los Nabís fue un grupo de artistas franceses que emergió a finales del siglo XIX bajo la influencia de la pintura de Paul Gauguin y el arte japonés. El grupo reunió a más de una docena de artistas de personalidad diversa, pero con intereses comunes, como la dimensión simbólica y emocional de la pintura, o el interés por las formas depuradas, los colores intensos y la exploración de la superficie plana del espacio plástico. La exposición es una oportunidad de conocer con detalle a este grupo singular de creadores que se autoafirmaron como “los profetas” del nuevo arte, y que históricamente se sitúan en la transición entre el impresionismo y las primeras vanguardias históricas. La exposición está comisariada por la historiadora de arte Isabelle Cahn, especializada en Los Nabís y conservadora del Musée d’ Orsay, museo que ha colaborado en el proyecto que se presenta en La Pedrera de Antoni Gaudí. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!

This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session.
