Tuesday night life drawing sessions at senseless Art Studio in Hong Kong have been organised for many years in different locations. As an open workshop, everyone is welcome, from beginners (there are many) to seasoned artists. Everyone is very respectful and willing to share. Time: 7.30 – 9.30pm, every Tuesday night; Venue: senselessart Studio Portland street. Self-teaching class: drawing starts at 7:30PM and ends around 9:45PM (sometimes a bit later). Come early if you want to get a good spot (especially if you'd like to be drawing on a table). Doors open at 7:00pm. We usually overstay to discuss the drawings and exchange impressions and advice. Working with male and female models, short poses mostly (2 to 20 minutes). Starting with short warm up poses and finishing on longer poses. (Please do not ask if the model will be male or female in advance, models change every week and if the model gender makes a difference to your participation then this probably isn't the drawing session you are looking for). In this session of HKWD we dive into the world of local models with Google AI. The evening will be held at Garage society with their support along with AngelFlow. The night is split into two parts. One on video game development of Non Player Characters and using GenAI and the other will be The Browser is the Brain: Running Google Gemma Locally with WebGPU. **Talk 1: Video game development of Non Player Characters and using GenAI** Using AI in video games is not a new idea and has been used a long time for things like game mechanics, character movements, path finding, dynamic levels and maps. However using it for non playable charters is new and Google Gemma is designed exactly for that. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily.
