Klampenborg Dyrhave - Charlottenlund Fort, 15 KM
Letâs go on an easy yet enjoyable walk from Klampenborg to Charlottenlund Fort. Along the way, weâll see several sights:
* The Hermitage Hunting Lodge, an 18th-century Baroque lodge in Dyrehaven, built between 1734â1736 for King Christian VI to host royal hunting banquets.
* Open meadows
* JĂŠgersborg Dyrehave, where weâll see deer
* Charlottenlund Fort, built in 1886â87, it served as part of Copenhagenâs coastal defense until 1932
Meeting point: Klampenborg Station at 11:00
At the end of the walk, weâll continue from Charlottenlund Fort to Charlottenlund Station (about 2 km).

From Platform to Purchase: How We Start Investing
This session is a follow-up to our last meetup and is shaped by the questions and topics participants asked for â but everyone is very welcome to join, whether you attended the previous session or not.
Weâll explore together:
* How investing platform works and what to pay attention to
* What to check before buying a security (and what you can ignore as a beginner)
* The topics youâre most interested in, with space to ask questions and guide the discussion
The session is designed to be practical, open, and discussion-driven, and weâll make sure the content meets the interests and level of the people in the room.
No prior knowledge required â curiosity is enough.
Fun social afternoon run
Join us for a trail run/jog/walk!
We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in âabout usâ.
How it works: we donât know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize.
Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 14:30.
Donât worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up.
Four-legged friends are welcome!
We never cancel.
See you there!

The topics we will vote to discuss are Emotional presence / mindfulness, Apathy / indifference and Emotional saturation.
1 emotion topics and 2 personal challenges topic to vote for discussion.
We will try as a group of random people to sit down and talk about emotions or personal challenges. Not necessarily to find a solution or an improvement, but to share perspectives and maybe discover new perspectives.
Some people like to talk, some like to listen, at the start of each event, declare if you would prefer to participate in the discussion or prefer to listen in and chime in with an occasional question.
If only danish speaking people are coming we will speak danish, if there are non danish speaking people coming we will speak English.

The Philosophy of HAPPINESS (!) â From Buddha to Brain Scans! We will explore...
**âThe Philosophy of Happiness (!) â From Buddha to Brain Scansâ**
Meaning, Pleasure, Discipline, Faith, and What It Means to Live Well
Everyone wants to be happyâbut no one seems to agree on what that actually means. Is happiness inner peace or external success? Pleasure or purpose? Detachment, discipline, faith, or self-optimization? Across history, cultures, and now science, radically different answers compete for our attention.
This isnât a self-help workshop or a mindfulness class. Itâs a philosophical conversation about happiness as an idea, a practice, and a social goal.
***
**Topics weâll touch on:**
* Buddha and the end of suffering: desire, attachment, and liberation
* Stoicism: control, resilience, and emotional discipline
* Hedonism: pleasure, limits, and whether âmoreâ ever satisfies
* Religion and happiness: salvation, meaning, and transcendence
* Modern self-help: empowerment, illusion, or coping strategy?
* What does science say? Brains, dopamine, habits, and well-being data
* Can a society be âhappyââand should happiness be a political goal?
* And finally⊠is happiness something to pursue, cultivate, acceptâor stop chasing altogether?
Casual discussion. No philosophical or scientific background requiredâjust curiosity and lived experience. Whether you feel content, restless, skeptical, or searchingâyouâre not alone.
Letâs explore happiness not as a sloganâbut as one of humanityâs oldest and hardest questions.

Fast Day hike. 47 KM. Ăngelholm to Mölle
Hey Randoms,
This 47 KM day hike takes us through the scenic Kullaberg area in south Sweden. We start in Ăngelholm and work our way west to the town of Mölle. The Kullaberg nature reserve doesn't have reliable camp options, but luckily we are a group of badass randoms, so we just hike it in one day - and fairly fast too.
The hiking starts in Ăngelholm at 8:15. The goal is to get to Mölle before 19:20. That gets us back to CPH at 22:29. **The pace is going to be a higher than usual, and breaks are going to be short.** So please consider this when signing up. Smiley game face on, pack light, bring a good light source, avoid food where cooking is required.
Arrival later than 19:20 means we'll need to deal with a late train and an extended trip home, which means a very late arrival back in CPH at 01:26.......not awesome. But if our pace doesn't work out, or if shit just happens, that's how it'll be - we adapt. We'll get home eventually :-)
**Getting there**

Everybody is welcome, whether you are new to board games or you are an experienced player. We play everything from Codenames, Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, The Resistance, Secret Hitler to more medium-long games like Terraforming Mars, Pandemic, Power Grid, 7 Wonders and Catan. You are welcome to come and play for a few hours or even stay longer if you feel like it! So girls and guys, come and join us for fun and games at Bastard Cafe! :D
**FAQ**
**Q**: *How can I find you?*
**A**: Sometimes we got white flags saying 'Meetup' on the tables, and at other times we simply write the table number in the comment sections. But if you have any trouble finding us you are always welcome to write (chat or comment) and we will gently guide you to our table! :)
**Q**: *What language do you speak?*
**A**: Since our group is a mix of natives and internationals we primarily speak English.
**Q**: *What games do you play?*
**A**: All sorts of games! Social deduction games, strategy games, deckbuilding games, dice games, card games, dexterity games, you name it! If there is any game you want to play feel free to put a comment below, or bring it to the table to see if people are interested!
**Q**: *For how long do you play?*
**A**: As long as people want. We don't have a minimum or maximum time. The timer set from 1:30 pm to 8 pm are merely guiding times. Some leave after a few hours, others play until the cafe close...xD
**Q**: *I am going to be 15 minutes late, can I still show up?*
**A**: Of course! You are always welcome! Just be aware that people might have already started games if you show up a bit later.
**Q**: *What is the average age in the group?*
**A**: In general, we are a very mixed age-group but most people are probably in their 20's and 30's. Though by default, anyone no matter the age, gender, or otherwise, is welcome!
**Q**: How does visiting the cafe work?
**A**: A membership of the cafe cost 150 dkk a year and gives you access to all their games. Else you need a day ticket costing 30 dkk to play all games. There are also free games, but it is required you buy at least one drink from the bar to play them.

CBusData: The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI
The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI
One does not simply build reports on OLTP data. Join us on an epic journey from the depths of raw, normalized tables to the shining halls of a well-modeled star schema fit for Power BI greatness. We will demystify the differences between OLTP and OLAP, walk through star schema vs snowflake (and why Power BI has a clear favorite), and show you the compression differences between normalized and columnar storage that will make you never look at an OLTP model the same way again.
We will cover the different types of dimensions, when to use them, and how to handle Slowly Changing Dimensions without losing your mind. You will leave knowing exactly how to identify a bad model, how to convert OLTP data into a clean star schema, and how to forge relationships that rule them all.
Whether you are a data wizard, a curious hobbit, or somewhere in between, your models will never be the same.
