Covid Alert: We will start having classes again at Canal Park on Wednesdays and the dojo on Saturdays. Please bring your own hand sanitizer, and a mask are a must! This class will provide instruction into various concepts of **Jiu-Jitsu** as a form of **martial art**. Participants will have the opportunity to **study**, **practice**, and **experiment** with **submission holds** and **strategic fighting controls** that are the hallmark of the now famous methodology of Professional MMA athletes and professional combatives users. Vintage handkerchiefs have wonderful graphics, perfect to create a crazy Quilt. Working with vintage linens requires some special tricks Judy will cover in class. After we have sewn our blocks into a small quilt, we will use our machine’s decorative stitches using size 12 threads to sew patterns on our quilts. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways.
