Happy New Year, all Independent Movie Lovers You are invited meet at 7 pm, on Friday the 9th of January 2026. This meeting is at the Café on the ground floor of the Light House Cinema, Smithfield Square, Dublin. We will discuss the film: **Sentimental Value** (2025), directed by Joachim Trier. Joachim Trier is a Norwegian director, who directed the acclaimed Oslo trilogy which includes the movies Reprise and Oslo. We will also discuss: **Knives Out** (2019), directed by Rian Johnson, an American director and producer perhaps best known for directing 'Star Wars: the Last Jedi'. This is the first of the 'Knives Out' movies, not to be confused with the two sequels.
