Du schreibst direkt vor Ort, teilst deine Texte mit der Gruppe (freiwillig!) und erhältst konstruktives Feedback. Die Atmosphäre ist offen und unterstützend. Hier darf ein Text noch unfertig sein, eine Idee noch roh, ein Gedanke noch unausgereift. In dieser Atmosphäre gegenseitiger Wertschätzung entsteht der Mut, sich auszuprobieren und die eigene Stimme zu entdecken. ☀️ If the sun is out, we should probably be in a park. A relaxed afternoon hangout in the park with a bit of a desi vibe. We’ll bring some blankets, maybe a small grill, and hang out while the sun’s out. Expect snacks, music, games, and the usual laughs and chaotic stories about life in Berlin. If so, meet with us to make friends and have some good conversations. We begin by sharing the languages we speak fluently and the ones we are learning. Then we split into groups and speak! You can switch groups as often as you'd like. The goal is to speak about interesting, thought-provoking topics - not just the typical introductions we usually make. At our last meetups we spoke: German, Ukranian, English, French, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Arabic, Norwegian, Icelandic, and Dutch. Expats and English speakers are a big part of our city, neighborhood and our community. Walk & Talk is an opportunity for you to **meet other English-speaking people** right in your own neighborhood, without needing to travel to events at the other end of town. It is also an invitation to **get to know your local Stadtteilzentrum** Prenzlauer Berg (community center Prenzlauer Berg) and to discover more community offerings here on site! Every Sunday at 2:00pm, we meet at the Stadtteilzentrum and take a **group walk through the neighborhood** to various, interesting places. Along the way we exchange and get to know each other – stories, journeys, ideas, hobbies, tips for leisure, and more. Our Sewing & Crafting Activity Group is gathering to connect, serve, and create together in a Christ-centered environment. Whether you’re experienced or brand new, all skill levels are welcome. No supplies needed, but sewing machines are appreciated if you’re comfortable bringing one. Join us January 20th, February 17th & 24th, March 17th & 24th, and April 21st from 1–6 PM in the Youth Building at Village Chapel as we begin with prayer, enjoy fellowship, and work on meaningful service projects together. You are welcome to drop by anytime!

5th annual Earth Day Celebration! This year (2026) the Celebration is scheduled for April 25th with activities running from 10am-2pm. This is a non-ticketed event. Everyone is welcome! We will have food trucks, Birds of Prey, kids crafts, live music, raspberry plants, apple trees, and of course NATIVE PLANTS!
