Scenes unfold in ways that are sometimes obvious and sometimes surprising, inviting audiences into unexpected connections, emotional depth and moments of shared discovery. Visiting artist Tim Orr brings this format to The Courtyard Playhouse, drawn to its focus on ensemble work, emotional awareness and the joy of shared storytelling. **About Tim Orr** Tim has improvised since 1988 with many San Francisco and international groups, *including BATS Improv*, *True Fiction Magazine, Awkward Dinner Party,* and *3 For All*. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy.
