Its roots go back to the Stonewall Riots, and since then Pride literature has grown into a bold, varied body of work—from Giovanni’s Room to A single man and Normal People, each capturing different shades of love and identity. As we read, the aim isn’t just analysis but conversation—what resonates, what challenges us, and what these stories say about how people find themselves and each other. It’s about getting together in a real space, doing something practical, and seeing what ideas and connections might grow from there.
