📚 Khobar English Book Club — Meetup #3 Every week at Khobar English Book Club, our members meet to discuss a piece of literature that we are all reading - the description for this week's meetup is below. 📖 Current Read: *The Pearl*, John Steinbeck A fable of hope, greed, and human nature, The Pearl tells the story of a poor pearl diver whose life is forever changed by a single discovery. What begins as a dream of opportunity gradually becomes a powerful exploration of ambition, social inequality, and the price we pay for pursuing our desires. Beautifully written and deceptively simple, Steinbeck's classic novella invites readers to reflect on wealth, destiny, family, and what it means to live a good life.
