Getting Unstuck | Clarity Session for Midlife Professionals | 1-on-1 Coaching
Getting Unstuck | Clarity Session for Midlife Professionals | 1-on-1 Coaching
**Feeling Like You’re on Autopilot?** You’re doing all the right things — showing up, getting work done, meeting expectations — yet inside, it feels like you’ve hit pause. You’re not learning, not growing, and there’s nothing left to prove. Life is moving, but you feel… stuck. 👉 [Click](https://calendly.com/ahmed-signature-strengths/coaching_session) to book your free 50-minute session today. You might find yourself thinking: * “Maybe I’m the problem for not feeling fulfilled anymore.” * “I’m going through life but without purpose. I’m working, but not adding any value.” * “I’ve lost confidence in myself.” If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. **What We’ll Do Together** In this 50-minute clarity session, we’ll slow down and untangle what’s really happening beneath the surface. We’ll explore the patterns, fears, and blind spots that keep you stuck — and reconnect you with what brings energy, meaning, and direction. You’ll walk away with: * **Clarity**: A deeper understanding of what you want (and what’s been blocking it). * **Perspective**: Awareness of your strengths and how they connect to your sense of purpose. * **Momentum**: A simple, realistic next step to start moving forward again. **Why We Get Stuck** People tend to get stuck for three main reasons: * **Lack of clarity** – “I don’t know what I want anymore, what gives me energy, or what drains me.” * **Fear of failure** – “What if I make the wrong decision? I have too much responsibility to risk failing.” * **Exhaustion** – “I know what I want, but I’m tired of trying and not getting there.” The truth is, clarity doesn’t come from overthinking — it comes from reconnecting with your strengths and what genuinely matters to you. **Why I Created this Session** I’ve worked with many midlife professionals who reached a point where success stopped feeling fulfilling. They weren’t broken — they were simply ready for a new chapter that aligned with who they’ve become. Through coaching, I’ve helped clients reconnect with their strengths, rediscover purpose, and take confident, meaningful steps forward — personally and professionally. This session was created to help you do the same: get unstuck, get clear, and start moving again. **What to Expect** * 1:1 virtual coaching via Zoom (50 minutes) * Reflective conversation tailored to your situation * Practical insights, mindset shifts, and clarity tools * A calm, supportive space to talk openly about what’s next **Ready to Get Unstuck?** This is a limited-time free clarity session — an opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign before taking your next step. 👉 [Click](https://calendly.com/ahmed-signature-strengths/coaching_session) to book your free 50-minute session today. Because sometimes, the only thing standing between you and clarity is one honest conversation.

[LOCATION: THE SISTER CAFE] Philosophy Meetup: 17:00-18:30
[LOCATION: THE SISTER CAFE] Philosophy Meetup: 17:00-18:30
Welcome to our weekly event in the upstairs room of The Sister Café, rue Chair et Pain 3, one block from the Grand Place. Please get there early enough to order your drink at the bar first. Thank you! After introductions we will collect questions from the group participants, choose one by voting then discuss it for an hour. Then most of us stay for drinks and bizarre conversations. Past questions have been wide and not confined to academic philosophy: What is a genuine friend? Is social media turning us into emotional zombies? Do we lose some of the experience of things by defining them? Are we driven by sex? Is loneliness a personal failure? Is morality relative? **Crucially, be kind and respectful and generous** in your disagreements; remember how much you personally enjoy someone else proving you wrong before celebrating your cutting counterexamples.

Sometimes, it took them more than one attempt before being able to join.* *Occasionally, people reach out to me before the event, and I have always been grateful for that as it offers the opportunity to communicate with each other and to find the best and most gentle way for that person to join the group.* *I would like to encourage everyone who struggles with this to contact me before. It would really be too bad if you can't join us, as it mostly gets better the second or third time you come.* *In addition to that, if you arrive and notice any signs of nervousness or fear, you can always let me know right then.* **THANK YOU AND SEE YOU ALL ON SATURDAY!** **LOCATION:** Château Moderne Mont des Arts 1 1000 Bruxelles
Finding Your Voice: The Art of Honest Connection
Finding Your Voice: The Art of Honest Connection
Do you ever find yourself caught between the "polite" answer and your honest truth? Many of us silence our real thoughts out of a fear of rejection, but hiding our boundaries often costs us our confidence. We invite you to join us for an intimate introduction to **Conflict Resolution and Management**. This isn't just a seminar; it is a safe space to explore how we can stop fearing friction and start navigating it with grace. **The Journey:** Together, we will look beyond the surface of arguments. We will explore the psychology behind why we hesitate, identify the different shapes conflict takes, and learn strategic yet empathetic ways to tackle them. Whether you are navigating dynamics with a boss, a neighbor, or a life partner, you will learn that conflict doesn't have to be a battle. When approached correctly, it is an integral part of your success and a pathway to deeper connection. **Your Comfort Matters:** We believe true learning happens when you feel safe. During the session, you will be invited to explore these concepts in the way that feels most natural to you—whether through the quiet reflection of **writing** or the active engagement of **speaking**. Come as you are, and leave with the tools to set boundaries, voice your authentic opinion, and stand in your confidence. ***

Contra dance with Big Scioty on Jan 3 - First Congregational Church
**Caller: Gaye Fifer** **Band: Hot Coffee Breakdown** **Big Scioty Contra Dance** **temporarily returning to our long ago location for Jan-March - First Congregational Church, 444 E. Broad St., Columbus 43215** WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot. For more information contact me or check out our website: [www.bigscioty.com](http://www.bigscioty.com/) Please bring your own refillable water bottle. Snacks to share are always welcome!

Shut Up & Write!™ Easton Town Center
Shut Up & Write!™ Easton Town Center
We'll meet at The Capital One Café, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. (I’ll be the person with the Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. Happy writing and I look forward to seeing you! • What to bring Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block noise or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Electrical outlets are limited, so charge your devices before whenever possible. See you at The Café on Saturday!
