Spring Equinox GONG BATH @the Wilds, Barking Riverside
[BOOK HERE](https://www.benita-yoga.com/gong-bath-at-the-boathouse-in-barking) spaces are limited !!!
Donât predict anything that can happen in the gong bath, please bring an open mind with no expectations. This is an adventure. Just relax and drift off where the sound takes you đ
What to expect in Gong Bath?
You simply submerge in the sounds, in the ocean of sounds. All you do is lie comfortably on a mat, close your eyes and slow your breath. Just like during the relaxation after our Yoga class. You prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. In the place of stillness you become more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Then I create the soundtrack⌠Your mind, body and soul is bathed with the tones of the Gongs and other instruments. The aim is to go into a deep state of relaxation, taking you to a space of neutrality, a space of bliss where the bodyâs natural healing process begins⌠Itâs all about opening the passage of energy flow throughout the body to make you healthy and happy.
When you awaken, you are ready to come back to the outer world, revived, calm and full of energy.
Whatâs behind this technology of sound vibrations?
Sound has been used in various cultures for thousands of years to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance. The sound vibrations, confirmed by scientific research help return your body to a natural state of harmony. Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state. Our fluctuating brainwaves are synchronised with a stable frequency which the brain can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency it becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur). We experience our brainwave balancing to clear the mind, release stress from the nervous system and allow us to feel a deeper inner sense of peace, balance and vitality.
Green AI: Making Machine Learning Environmentally Sustainable
If you build digital products that incorporate AI and have concerns about the energy use and environmental impacts of the technology, then this talk is for you.
Charles Humble is coming to talk about the carbon footprint of artificial intelligence as well as some practical tips on how to minimise this through the different phases of AI development.
Check out the Green Software Brighton [website](https://greensoftwarebrighton.co.uk/) for links to previous talks.
Arrive from 18:00 for pizza and drinks. Event will start at 18:30. We always head for a drink and a chat locally afterwards too.

Pure strength & Social
At Workout with Pride, we're all about promoting lasting health and vitality. That's why we're introducing "Pure Strength," a new class focused on enhancing strength and mobility while keeping the excitement of our other offerings.
Age brings unique needs, and our bodies demand more focus on mobility and the improvement of tight areas. As we age, maintaining muscle mass becomes crucial. Strength training is essential for both muscle retention and the health of our bones.
Our "Pure Strength" class is a deliberately slower-paced approach to our regular strength training sessions. We've carved out specific times for resting and refining movements. We're creating a space where you can concentrate on developing strength, mobility, and confidence, with our renowned flare for fun and inclusivity.
This exclusive class is available for a limited number of participants, so don't miss out on your chance to join us in shaping a healthier future for yourself.
Together, let's work towards a stronger, more resilient you.

The Quiet-ish ADHD Social | Small Group | Low Battery Laughs & Chat
This is a smallish-group, quiet-ish meetup for ADHD brains who want to connect with their tribe without their nervous system going, 'Aiiight, I'm outta here!'
Weâre meeting at **Picturehouse Central** (Piccadilly) because itâs one of those places where you can actually hear yourself think. Mostly. This is more of a tea/coffee and cake kinda venue. Sorry, booze hounds!
**The environment is**: relaxed, validating, welcoming
It won't be like whispering to each other at the back of the class, more less sensory Armageddon.
**What to expect**
A small group (human-scale, not âwho are all these peopleâ scale).
A quiet-ish venue where you donât have to shout your personality into existence.
Conversation that can be normal (well, probably far from normal đ
. There is no need to worry about trying to fit in, no need to mask.
A soft landing. Come late, ease in, do a gentle hello, no oneâs timing you.
Low-pressure hanging out. If you want to chat, great. If you want to sit and decompress near other people, also great.
**The unofficial theme**
How to be social without being assaulted by:
fluorescent lighting
overlapping conversations
surprise music
that one table doing a full volume podcast recording next to you.
**Important Note:**
If you cannot make it, please put 'Can't go'. This ensures there's space for others who want to attend đ
â------------------------------------------------------
Boundaries (quick, clear, important)
Yay!-DHD is a consent-led space. Some people are chatty, some are quiet, some are pacing themselves. Please donât push for personal details, contact info, or continued connection if someone isnât offering it. This isnât a dating event.

**Abstract**
Web Forms gave .NET developers a powerful abstraction for building reusable UI controls long before design systems were a thing. Web Components finally bring that same idea to the browser natively.
This session explores how the Web Forms mindset translates into Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and HTML templates. Weâll examine how Web Components enable design systems that work across frameworks, how they differ from serverâdriven controls, and why theyâre becoming a foundational layer for modern UI. Whether youâre maintaining legacy apps or building greenfield projects, youâll leave with a practical understanding of how to apply familiar patterns in a modern, standardsâbased way.
