Make Yourself Memorable: Standing Out in a Crowded Market
Make Yourself Memorable: Standing Out in a Crowded Market
We are back. And yes, we're keeping the Friday tradition alive! For this event, we’re cutting through the noise. In a world where everyone is shouting for attention, being "good" isn't enough anymore, you have to be **unforgettable**. This time, we’re dissecting the art of becoming truly memorable, both on stage and on the screen. This isn’t about cheap marketing hacks or shallow virality. It’s about understanding the core mechanics of how to make your ideas stick, how to resonate deeply with your audience, and how to scale a brand that commands the room. **The Agenda & What You'll Learn:** Two expert angles, one goal: Make sure you never blend into the background again. **17:45:** Arrive, grab a drink, and connect. **18:10 – 18:15: Event Kickoff & Intro.** Setting the stage for a night of high-impact learning. **18:15 – 18:30: How to be a Memorable Presenter (by Alex MacIntosh).** Ever wonder why some talks echo in your mind for days, while others fade before the speaker even leaves the stage? In this hyper-focused session, Alex breaks down the exact anatomy of "sticky ideas" and how to weaponize them in your presentations. You’ll discover the psychological hooks that guarantee your audience leans in, pays attention, and actually acts on your core message. Walk away with an actionable framework to ensure your next pitch is unforgettable. **18:30 – 18:45: How to Build a Memorable Online Presence (by Chris Parker).** "Build it and they will come" is a lie in today's crowded digital landscape. Chris Parker-entrepreneur, Kajabi expert, and digital growth strategist-will reveal how to cut through the noise and scale a premium digital brand. He'll share his proven approach to identifying the bottlenecks holding your business back and how to deeply tune into your brand to create massive growth. You'll learn how to position your expertise so you can work smarter, not harder, and transform quiet followers into high-paying clients. **18:50 – 20:00:** Genuine networking & conversations with quality food and drinks. **20:00 onwards:** We are heading to a nearby bar. We expect the conversation to go late. **Who Is This For?** This is for freelancers, digital nomads, and founders in Budapest who want to disaster-proof their work and amplify their impact. Join a community of curious, open-minded people for an honest conversation. No corporate fluff, just genuine connections and actionable takeaways on how to stand out. **Location:** We'll be hosting at the fantastic KLUSTER Coworking space. **The Legal Bit:** During the event, we'll be taking some photos. By attending, you consent to this. Thanks for reading, see you on the 10th!

*All the presentations are in Hungarian. Thanks for your understanding!* Fél évszázad után visszatért az emberiség a Holdhoz, miután az Artemis–2 négy űrhajósa kedden hajnalban elhaladt az égitest mellett. De miért lett újra érdekes a Hold? Pacher Tibor, a Puli Space Technologies vezetője elmondja.
As the weather looks a bit gloomy next weekend, it’s the perfect time to join us for our very first film club event. We’ll meet at Tabán Art Cinema to watch "Magyar Menyegzők", a truly unique film that stands out as Hungary’s first “folk dance” movie. It features a beautiful soundtrack, stunning traditional costumes, and vibrant dancing that bring the story to life. Set in Transylvania in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the film also offers a glimpse into the political and historical atmosphere of the time, making it not only visually engaging but culturally rich as well. After the screening, we’ll head to a nearby coffee shop where, depending on your level, we'll split into smaller groups to chat about the movie, weddings, cinema, and history. The film will be shown with English subtitles, so everyone can enjoy it. The discussions are divided to three levels: complete beginner(A1), foundation(A2) and intermediate(B1) You can purchase your ticket through the Cooltix link, which includes your cinema ticket. If you’re a student under 26 and can verify your student status at the cinema, you’re eligible for a discounted price. You can buy your ticket here which includes the move ticket: https://cooltix.hu/event/69d3f846e2bf211e17b29774 We hope to see many of you there!

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!

AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s? This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation? We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee. Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps). Ultimately, this talk focuses on the intersection of art and science—using data to inform creativity and build a brand that resonates with customers in a measurable way. **About Our Speaker** Sara Kear is Chief Marketing Officer at Condado Tacos, where she oversees brand, restaurant design, menu and pricing strategy, off-premise including catering, and customer data strategy. Since joining in 2021, she has helped grow the brand from 19 to 52 locations while building a data-driven marketing organization focused on loyalty and customer insights. Condado has since been named to the Inc. 5000, recognized as Breakout Retailer by Chain Store Age, and consistently ranked among FastCasual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers.
