L’exposition Matisse. 1941–1954 éclaire les dernières années de la carrière d’Henri Matisse, entre 1941 et 1954, à travers plus de 300 œuvres, peintures, dessins, gouaches découpées, livres illustrés, textiles et vitraux, issues de la collection du Centre Pompidou et de prêts internationaux majeurs. Je vous donne rendez-vous le vendredi 29 mai dès 19h45 dans l'entrée du Grand Palais, près de l'accueil. L'entrée se fait côté Square Jean Perrin. Nous entamerons l'exposition à 20h. En mai, vous avez voté pour les sujets que nous aborderons! Et pour le dernier du mois, il a été vivement demandé de faire un dernier cours sur le sujet de la couleur, que nous tenterons de comprendre principalement au travers des contrastes. On se retrouve à 19h30, mais qui veut peut arriver au local à partir de 19h pour grignoter, discuter! Il y aura du thé et du café pour qui veut, il faut retirer ses chaussures car c'est une salle de danse (donc les bottes à lacets attendront une autre soirée). Join us for an untutored life drawing session with a female model. The session starts with brief warm-up poses of two minutes, followed by a series of 5-25 minute poses. Our models are professional fine art models affiliated with the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Académie de la Grande Chaumière and other Parisian life drawing ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials. After the session, we come together for a relaxed drink and chat. It's a chance to share your drawings from the session and discuss drawing tips & techniques. You can also connect with fellow artists, exchange contacts, and promote your artistic projects. **Let’s kick off our very first CBUS Maker Meetup!** Whether you are looking to carve out dedicated creative time, wanting to get a lingering project across the finish line, or just looking to chat with fellow local makers—this is the space for you. 🧵 **What to Bring** Bring any art or craft project you are currently working on, as long as it is portable and quiet. Think: * **Yarn & Thread:** Knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, hand-sewing, mending. * **Paper & Sketching:** Sketchbooks, adult coloring books, watercolors, bullet journaling. * **Digital:** Tablets, iPad drawing, laptop writing/design. * *Please note: Because we are meeting in a shared public space, no power tools, sewing machines, or high-odor materials (like strong solvents or spray glues), please!* **📍 Where to Find Us** * We will be meeting at **Columbus Metropolitan Library - Karl Road Branch** in **Meeting Room 1**.
