IoT Meetup at Concept Reply (Preparing IoT for the Quantum Era with DigiCert)
**Beer, Pizza and IoT Meetup (DigiCert Special)**
We would like to invite you to our next IoT Meetup at Concept Reply at the Reply offices in Munich.
**Agenda**
19:00 – Securing the future Internet of Things with ML-KEM and ML-DSA (Talks by Kevin Hilscher and Daniel Stroehmann from DigiCert)
20:00 – Pizza & Networking
**Description**
Today’s Internet of Things (IoT) relies on a variety of protocols and communications technologies…CoAP, LwM2M, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, Thread … many of which are not quantum-safe.
While large-scale quantum computers capable of breaking current encryption aren’t yet available, the concept of “harvest now, decrypt later” is a significant concern. Now that NIST has released final versions of its first three Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards the race is on to make IoT quantum-safe.
**We will explore**
* What it takes to make an IoT solution quantum-safe.
* The algorithms regulators, such as BSI, are recommending.
* How to implement and transmit data between a device and an MQTT broker with TLS 1.3, ML-KEM, and ML-DSA using open-source tools.
Please feel free to forward this invite to anybody who might like to take part.
PLEASE NOTE: This Meetup will get streamed and recorded so you may get filmed by taking part. Doors open at 7PM for this one due to an event before.
This event is exclusively for those with a professional background. Due to limited capacity, we reserve the right to restrict admission.
Pizza, beer and seats first come first serve! :)

Vibecode Bar

Open Sharing Circle ✨ (English)
Open Sharing Circle ✨
This circle will be held in English.
We come together to be present and to show up as we truly are.
The intention is to share in a safe and trusting space — thoughts, emotions, goals, opinions — whatever feels alive for you in the moment.
No one has to share, and everyone is welcome to.
⸻
What is it about?
• Strengthening self-awareness & self-trust
• Personal growth
• Building deep relationships & trust
• Getting to know people on a genuine, human level
• Feeling free to express yourself authentically
⸻
Circle Agreements
Free & voluntary
You are welcome to share anything you like — and you don’t have to share anything.
Speak from your own experience
Share from your personal perspective: your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and perceptions.
The space holder may gently support this by placing a hand on their chest as a signal.
Respect & confidentiality
We meet each other with respect and without judgment.
What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
Talking object
Only the person holding the talking object speaks. Clarifying questions are welcome.
Sharing time & space
Take your time when sharing, and also leave space for others.
Advice & support
Speak for yourself and offer advice only with consent.
Please ask explicitly if you would like to receive advice or support.
Triggers & emotions
Everyone is responsible for their own feelings and topics.
Strong emotions (e.g., crying) are welcome and respected. Support is offered only if desired.
Personal needs
Please take care of your own needs (bathroom, food, etc.) and respect the group space.
Space holders
The organizing team selects space holders who support the flow of the circle and help maintain the agreements.
The circle may be gently paused if needed.
Focus round
The space holder may intuitively initiate a short focus round if it feels supportive.
Mobile phones
Please keep your phone on silent and use it only for notes if needed.
Time
Duration: approx. 3 hours.
You may leave at any time, ideally during the breaks (about every 45 minutes).
After the circle, there is space to stay, connect, or continue sharing if you feel like it.
[Public Event][Multiple Film Screenings & Talk][Free Entry] Palestinian Land Day
This is an announcement to a public event hosted by [Zentralwäscherei](https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/108133731078043/zentralwascherei/?e=08b9f262-7b74-471f-bae2-1825b178d7cc&g=5).
The event is free entry so no tickets needed.
As the 50th anniversary of Palestinian Land Day approaches on March 30th, we invite you to a film screening and input reflecting on land as the heart of the Palestinian struggle for liberation; its fragmentation, dispossession, and the Palestinian people’s steadfast resistance to ongoing Zionist settlement and land grab.
Since October 2023, forced displacement has intensified across Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, alongside the ongoing brutal genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. This event situates today’s Zionist aggression within a longer history of erasure, expulsion, and forced dispossession.
**PROGRAM:**
✦ Ma’loul Celebrates its Destruction \(1984\) by Michel Khleifi \| 32 min
✦ Yom al\-Ard \(2019\) by Monica Maurer \| 15 min
✦ Masafer Yatta: Forced from Home \(2023\)\, by Médecins Sans Frontières \(MSF\) \| 11 min
The film program will be followed by an input and Q&A with scientist and activist Nihad Ben Salah, who will share her experience of volunteering with the Masafer Yatta Solidarity Alliance (MYSA), and witnessing the escalation of settler violence in the southern hills of al-Khalil after the „ceasefire“ in October 2025.

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association:
They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online

CBusData - Discover the Power of Window Functions
Window functions have nothing to do with the Windows operating system but provide a “window” to a result set when used in SQL queries. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways. Window functions provide easy, set-based solutions to solve some common problems:
* Using running totals
* Performing operations in intervals
* Identifying data gaps and islands
* Performing aggregates without losing detail
Many people are confused by window functions and do not know how to use them properly. This session will explore window functions, how they work, and how to use them. Demonstrations with several examples will solidify how window functions can simplify queries and make them more powerful.
