A Rabble session is 1 hour of fun and social team games.
Each game disguises high-intensity intervals within the rules, giving you an effective, all-body workout without even realising it.
We play a bunch of different games at each session (like British Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee and many more), and every class is different.
Sessions are open to all, no matter your sporting ability. Each game is explained before we start, so there's no need to have played any of the games before.

This is an inclusive and welcoming meetup.
The core of this meetup is to foster a collaborative environment where participants playtest board games and offer constructive feedback to fellow designers.
Bringing a design or prototype is not a requirement, this event is for anyone passionate about games—whether they're a designer, developer, playtester, or simply someone who loves engaging with creative ideas. No prior experience is necessary.
Location: Exact location within the National Theatre is shared 10-15 mins before the event, depending on the availability of the seating. Keep an eye out for a comment on the event page. "Usually", it is around the Lyttleton Circle Bar, First floor.

London Bridge Writers' Group - Pub Meet
**The Talbot Room at the George Inn**
The George provides the room free of charge (they are awesome), and we encourage you to purchase drinks (and food – the burgers are great!). As it’s a pub and not a picnic area, please don’t consume your own food and drink there.
We usually meet in the Talbot room which is on the top floor on the left hand side of the pub as viewed from the courtyard. If lost please send a message here shortly before the meeting starts.
**We are sorry to say that there is no step-free access to the Talbot room, and it is at the end of three flights of stairs.**
**Format**
We start at 7pm and run until 9pm. We hear approximately six readings of 10 minutes (\~2000 words), then discuss the piece for 10 minutes. Email your work to: london60transmitter@emailitin.com as an attachment (It must be an attachment). A link for access to googledocs will be given at the start of each session to enable people to read along, which in turn enables more considered feedback. Work submitted will be automatically deleted after 10 days. We decide on readers/pieces at the beginning of each session.
**Safe and respectful space**
The group is run by volunteers, and we don’t have the capacity to read submitted work in advance. If there is anything in your work that might distress or disturb some readers, for example concerning any kind of abuse, please give a trigger warning before you read. Be specific and concise. If it becomes apparent during a reading that a piece is inappropriate, the moderator will stop the reading. In discussing others’ work, please be mindful of how you express yourself and do not use discriminatory language, even if such language features in the piece.

Raquel is the founder of WonderlandCurious, a tech event consultancy focused on people-first experiences, and previously founded and led the WooCommerce agency Mode Effect for a decade before exiting in 2020. Today, she channels that community experience into PressConf, a conference built around candid, unrecorded conversations among the leaders shaping the WordPress economy.

WordPress 7.0 shipped on 20 May with the Abilities API in core. Quieter than the real-time collaboration headlines that got pulled, but more consequential. Abilities turn plugin capabilities into something AI assistants and automation tools can discover and invoke, with permissions intact. Paul walks through what changed, what it means for how we build plugins, and what's already running in production across Filter AI, Filter Abilities, and PersonalizeWP, plus a quick aside into whether AI assistants can find your site at all, and how to find out.
Paul is the CTO and co-founder of Filter, a UK digital agency. He builds products including PersonalizeWP and Filter AI, leads technology transformation for a major UK brand, and speaks on practical AI, personalisation, tech strategy, and running an agency.

If you want to take your skills up, improve your confidence, gain self defense skills, get in better shape, test yourself or just want to kill some time and possibly get hit a bit come on down. \

*Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code*
Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs.
In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling.
The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options.
