Doch was passiert, wenn diese Systeme plötzlich nicht mehr Tausende, sondern Millionen von Requests bedienen oder Terabytes an Daten verarbeiten müssen? In der Praxis zeigt sich häufig: Klassische Optimierungen wie Caching, horizontale Skalierung oder effizientere Algorithmen stoßen irgendwann an ihre Grenzen, weil sie innerhalb desselben Paradigmas bleiben. We’ll meet at Hilversum Station at 10:30, walk together to the garden (arriving around 11:00), and spend about 2-2,5 hours sketching. There are some benches, but not many — please bring a foldable chair or something you can sit on, if possible. Around 14:00, we’ll head back toward the station. If people feel like it, we can grab drinks and maybe lunch at Mout before wrapping up around 15:00. For the first time ever, we, as Outdoors in Utrecht, will be undertaking a walkathon for a good cause Stichting Hartekind is a non-profit charity organization (and the only one in NL) that provides funding for scientific medical research for heart diseases affecting children (0-15 years) https://www.hartekind.nl/ We will be hiking the entirety of the north dunes reserve up until Den Helder to raise awareness about the organization & its actions, plus raise funding for the organization If you want to participate, that's awesome! There will be many other new people, so you won't be alone. And the regulars will be there to help make you feel welcome. We're a relaxed and warm group. We hope to see you. **SIDE NOTE:** New members are welcome to ALL our Friday night wine tastings, but this night is a special overture to those who don't want to feel that they are the only new person in the room. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for DINNER from 4:30 to 6:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 4:20pm and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map.
