Hidden beneath the streets of Utrecht in a neon-lit Tokyo-inspired wonderland, this place is all about private karaoke rooms, over-the-top vibes, cocktails, and singing your heart out with friends. After warming up our vocal cords (and possibly damaging them forever), we’ll take a short walk to [Daebak Korean BBQ](https://daebakbbq.nl/) for an interactive Korean BBQ dinner experience. Join us for a small outdoor mat Pilates class in Utrecht 🌿 We’ll meet in the park for a relaxed, beginner-friendly Pilates session. The class is suitable for all levels and focuses on moving your body, breathing, building strength and enjoying a calm evening outside. Please bring your own mat, water and comfortable clothes. Let’s gather in the sunshine for a relaxed afternoon of connection, good food, and creative conversation at Wilhelminapark! After our first workshop, this picnic is a chance to get to know each other more personally, reflect on our experience together, and enjoy a meaningful summer moment as a community. We’ll share stories, ideas, food, and inspiration in a beautiful outdoor setting. I’ll bring a whiteboard where everyone can share ideas for future community gatherings, creative meetups, and ways to stay connected between workshops. It will also be a fun way to get to know each other better, discover shared interests, and help shape the community together. I’ll bring a few simple games and conversation prompts to keep the creative energy flowing. ✨ What to bring: • Your favorite dish or snack to share • Your own drink (and something extra to share if you’d like) • A blanket or something comfortable to sit on • An open mind and your creative ideas ☀️ Looking ahead: Our next official Creative Circle workshop will most likely take place after the summer. Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve those in need. NOTE: We’re switching it up this time and going with a DINNER shift on Mon, 7/6. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for DINNER from 4:30 to 6:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 4:20pm and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking are available in the surrounding area. This is "***New Members Night***." If you are one of the many folks on the fence about coming to your first wine tasting with the *Hilliard Wine Club*, this is the night to come. There will be many other new people, so you won't be alone. And the regulars will be there to help make you feel welcome. We're a relaxed and warm group. We hope to see you. **New Venue:** After more than a year on Norwich Street in Old Hilliard we have found a new home at The District's Club House. It's about 3 miles from the former location but is brighter and more spacious. See photos and map. **SIDE NOTE:** New members are welcome to ALL our Friday night wine tastings, but this night is a special overture to those who don't want to feel that they are the only new person in the room. Don't worry. You won't be. And don't hesitate to RSVP to other events. **OLD MEMBERS NOTE**: Hey Old Members! You're not excluded from this event. We expect to see you there to help make the new members feel welcome. **Sample 4 different wines** this Friday for $15 (*Cash or Venmo only please*). Glasses are provided. Bring a snack to share. If you bring your own wine and do not participate in the tasting you will only pay $10 to cover the door charge. **Parking**: There are 15 visitor spaces along the North curve if you make a right hand turn after the first stop sign when you are facing the clubhouse. If all of those spaces are taken, there are 30 more visitor spaces across the back of the community (westerb edge) where the concrete wall separates the world from I-270. It's only about a 100 yard walk back to the clubhouse from there. **Glasses**: …will be provided. Please note that after the wine tasting, the glasses need to be returned to the boxes at the service table. Please be gentle, our glasses are fragile. Uh, they are made of glass! **Food**: You are welcome to bring a snack to share. It is not required. Most people do though. If no one brings anything, there will be nothing. **Code of Conduct**: Though mostly understood, it’s still worth mentioning. We don’t have rules per se, but we highly discourage the following topics of discussion because they are likely to incite anti-social responses - Sex, Politics, Religion. Please don’t mistake this as an attempt to limit your free speech rights but rather a guide to a place and time for appropriate discussions. **Extra Wine**: After everyone has had their samples, we remove the pouring spouts and any remaining wine is poured freely to whomever wants it. I hate having leftover wine. **Queen of Hearts**: The Queen of Hearts raffle is a fundraiser for the club and a Barnum and Bailey type extravaganza - minus the dancing ponies, clowns, and actual circus.
