From 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., we’ll be eating, drinking, and dancing our way into the new year with Melbourne’s best company. **31 December Update** ******** Please arrive between 5pm and 8PM. Very likely their doors will shut after 8. Due to the chaos around this time of year, we have to informally take over a space as their management could not reserve us a pre designated area. I will post up a comment letting people know how to find me, the group and the area of the bar we will be in before 5PM I will let the bar staff know as well, but please use your initiative and ask any likely groups of people. I will have my phone handy so feel free to message me as well. ### EVENT UPDATE: This one isn’t easy to write... After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our NYE Day Clubbing Party at 170 Russell. The honest truth is the numbers just weren’t where they needed to be for a venue of that size, and we never want to deliver anything less than the vibes you’ve come to expect from us. All tickets will be fully refunded, with funds returning to your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. We also want to share that Over 30s Do It Better will be taking a break for the foreseeable future. ######## NEW LOCATION ####### We are going to be at The Forge on Bethel Rd this week and until further notice! The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. There is a parking lot behind the building that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
