Hi everyone, Stella & Tarrant here 😃 It's board game and dinner time every 2nd Wednesdays! Everyone's welcome, new or experienced board gamer. Let's play board games together, meet new friends if you want, and also supporting local restaurant buying their food and drink, coz the event is free. 6pm start. $2 gold coin entry per person. Please order dinner at the bar when you arrive and let the staff know you are with the card group in the Dining Room. Meals are served around 7:15pm. Happy Hour drinks are available until 7pm. After a dinner break we shuffle the teams around so you get to meet, and play with new people. Games are played as 4 handed wherever possible, but an occasional 3,5 or 6 handed game is required based on the number of attendees. If you are a beginner or have minimal experience playing 500, please let your host know before starting a game, and feel free to ask them any question. Ahead of the event you might like to download one of the 500 card game apps on your phone to get familiar with the game. There are also some Youtube videos.

At 7pm, the night begins: • Guided drawing activities with your host, prompts and visual inspiration provided • Three activities/games per night a mix of collaborative chaos and solo scribbling • Breaks between rounds to regroup, hit the bathroom, top up a drink, grab some nibbles, and mingle with fellow doodlers It’s all about connecting through process rather than polishing a product. Expect laughter, strange drawings, and surprising conversations. In a world drowning in increasingly polished AI art, making something imperfect is a revolutionary act. Supplies provided. Masks welcome. Sharing your weird creations, highly recommended. Come draw like a kid, laugh like a fool, and leave with memories instead of masterpieces. **beernerds is a cross-platform group, typical turn-out will be about 12-16 people assuming 4-6 attendees through meetup** Location: Beer 360, Bridge Road, Richmond. 🗓️ Saturday 13 June 2026 ⏰ 3PM – 9PM Sadly the craft beer scene in Melbourne has taken another hit, this one is very much close to home for a few of us including myself. Beer 360 is a 4 tap bar in Richmond with an amazing selection of canned beers. It is run by Chris Daley and has been around since before COVID. A wonderful little community has grown from this bar and I have frequently cycled from Kensington to Richmond just to enjoy Chris' hospitality. These guys stayed open through lockdowns and acted as a center point for locals to "bump into" each other, score some cans, have a good chat with the charming gaffer, and even access a constantly shifting retinue of tap beers to fill growlers and other large bottles so you could enjoy the taste of craft tap beer at home/in the park/down an alley to hide from the enforcement officers. I know I'm not alone in feeling absolutely gutted to see them go. Lets show them our gratitude.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
