With this others will get an extra notification. **Improv Session Format** The session is held in English. The session is divided into three sections: Warm up, Scene games, and Cool down. **Warmup:** Quick group games are played to break the ice and get the creative juices flowing. **Scenes:** Then we move on to scene games. These are mostly from short-form improv, which can include different games with various gimmicks, like story building, character work, guessing, etc **Cool down:** One or two short group games to end the session. The rules are explained by the moderator before each game. There is no obligation to take part in games that you are not comfortable with. There can be feedback after a game is played. This is so that we learn from each other and gain skills and insights. **Tip**: If you are new, pay attention to the regular players when they are performing and notice small details, like how a stage is cleared before a scene, how to enter a scene, and how to collaborate with each other. * **Who is it for?** Anyone who is interested in improv! We accept all levels, beginners, and advanced participants This is a great place to start if you are new to improv. The basics will be explained. We only require the "Yes, and...!" spirit! WHAT we play. As you know, we have two events, one more for social games on Thursday and another for **strategic games** on **Monday**. Depending on what people bring, we may play brainy games, not limited to chess and classic games. So, feel free to bring other ones. And this is only indicative. Some games like Decrypto fit both events, **and if people feel like playing a social game on Monday or a more strategic one on Thursday, they are free to do so.** WHERE. Because we have many strategic players on Monday and these games take longer, we moved to a café closing much later than the previous one. CHATBOX USE. In the event chatbox, you are invited to discuss the games you bring and want to play for this session. The idea is to gather people around game tables beforehand. Of course, it's also possible to show up and arrange this after the introduction round, which starts at 7h15. HOST. Vandaag vergaderen we over: 1. De opgewaardeerde luchtkwaliteit display (fijnstof), nu met web-interface, met opvolging voor 32 locaties met elk 4 sensoren, met interface naar project Telraam (verkeerstellingen). Dit is eigen ontwikkeling van InfluencAir, en suggesties voor aanpassingen & verbeteringen zijn mogelijk, zelfs samenwerking tot doorontwikkeling van de software van de display. De source van de software is public domain (GNU GPL V3) en is gepubliceerd op Github (displayPM_32x4) 2. Er kunnen in deze sessie stand-alone displays van 53cm lang worden gebouwd. Het materiaal daarvoor wordt ter beschikking gesteld voor een bijdrage van 40 euro per display. 3. Een toepassing van deze display zal worden getoond: ons ZuivereLucht project te Dilbeek, dat loopt over het schooljaar 2025/2026, heeft in de scholen 17 luchtkwaliteitsmeters geplaatst, o.a. uitgerust met een aangepaste versie van deze display. De sensors in de meters omvatten een basis SDS011 fijnstofsensor, een vochtigheids gecompenseerde SDS011, en een SEN55, voor metingen van fijnstof, VOS en NOx. Het hele project te Dilbeek omvat ook nog 120 basismeters met enkel een basis SDS011 fijnstofsensor, en 9 vergelijkende meters binnen/buiten in de 9 rusthuizen, elk uitgerust met twee SDS011 sensors en de display. 4. Een doorontwikkeling van deze display resulteerde recent in een kleine LCD display voor gebruik thuis, met dezelfde mogelijkheden. Deze LCD display zal ook kunnen worden gebouwd, en het materiaal daarvoor wordt ter beschikking gesteld voor een bijdrage van 20 euro per display. Breng je laptop mee.

Our January program is privileged to have Kristen Tregar as our speaker. Ms. Tregar is the co-author with John de Lancie (the actor who portrayed the character Q on Star Trek next generation) of a radio play depicting the events surrounding the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District trial. The trial decided the issue of some of the Dover school district board members attempting to insert creationism disguised as "intelligent design" into the 9th grade biology curriculum. She will discuss the trial and the process of writing the play. (Bob Leonhard has seen the play and it is riveting and tense). Ms. Tregar's bio is below: Kristen Tregar is a dramaturg, director, playwright, and theatre teacher. She earned her Ph.D. in Drama and Theatre from the UC San Diego and UC Irvine joint program. In addition, she has a MS in Forensic Science from City University of New York- John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a MA in Educational Theatre from New York University- Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. In 2013, in collaboration with Irish colleagues, she founded *The Ireland Project*, an intercontinental devised theatre work with high school students in New York and Tallaght, Ireland. Her original short story "Far From Here" was recently published in *Stay Awhile Longer: More Scenes From Temecula Valley*. She has two rescued dogs (Kira and Harry) and she rides, competes, and foxhunts with her horses, Andromache and Baker Street Irregular. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. As taken from their website, AT Ohio's mission is to help Ohioans with disabilities learn about or acquire assistive technology. Assistive Technology refers to devices, equipment or services that assist individuals with disabilities to function independently in the areas of work, home or school. AT Ohio is NOT a grants-giving or funding organization. They do not assist in financing the purchase of any assistive technology. If you need funding for a device, they might be able to direct you to resources that may provide funding, but they do not fund devices.
