This is an opportunity to practice and hone your presentation skills for a friendly audience! Come ready to give a 5-minute presentation on a topic of your choice - whether it's a pitch to potential clients for your job, a niche hobby, or a special interest, all topics are welcome. Guests are encouraged to bring their own laptops. We will have access to a projector and HDMI cable to connect.

Let's get into some in-person games! For those new to the group, I have a wide selection of Nintendo systems on hand, and you're welcome to bring your own games, consoles or portable systems. A second TV is available. If possible, mention when you plan to arrive, as this can help in deciding when certain games would best be played. You can park along Armistead, Quantrell or Lincolnia, or Wilson. If you arrive after 6, you can also park on Breckinridge with no time limit. I can provide transportation from Van Dorn Metro before and after the event. For enrichment, we start by reading and reflecting on a **“published poem”**, suggested by someone in the group. No advance preparation is necessary. We will be playing Viticulture with up to 8 players. All experience levels welcome. Expect the game teach to start promptly within the first 10 minutes. In Viticulture, the players find themselves in the roles of people in rustic, pre-modern Tuscany who have inherited meagre vineyards. They have a few plots of land, an old crush pad, a tiny cellar, and three workers. They each have a dream of being the first to call their winery a true success. The players are in the position of determining how they want to allocate their workers throughout the year. Every season is different on a vineyard, so the workers have different tasks they can take care of in the summer and winter. There's competition over those tasks, and often the first worker to get to the job has an advantage over subsequent workers. In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do.
