Hippetys are recruiting players across our team, we have a team in all divisions of the Leinster league so we have space for players that complete beginners to those that would prefer to play at the highest level in Irish softball!!! Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

Want to try dodgeball? We are a recreational and social club who aims to get active during the Autumn and Winter months and have fun while doing it. We play foam ball dodgeball and are beginner friendly, with members of all skills levels. All you need is comfortable active wear and a lot of water! We use WhatsApp for attendance so the RSVPs below do not include our regular weekly players. We are running a small-group 'crash course' class on Sunday March 8, 2–3:30PM at our usual venue, The Pillar Room, beside The Gate Theatre at the top of O’Connell Street. We will cover the basic steps and rhythms for the dance. We at Freesalsa Ireland believe in growing the community, something our friend DJ Leo also believes in. Therefore, we are delighted to promote his weekly practice here on our Meetup for those of you looking to spend their Sunday in the best way. There will be a 60-minute lesson before social with the award-winning DJ Leo until 17.00. Prices stand at a very affordable: €5: Only Social or Only Class €5: for beginners class and social €7: for intermediate/improvers class and social. *Please note, class capacity is limited, so arrive early to be sure of a spot; first come, first serve. Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return.
