Dublin Debaters is back on Tuesday, 18th February, and this time we’re doing things a little differently. Join us for a *Funny Story Night*, where members and guests will take the floor to share their most humorous, awkward, and downright entertaining true stories. Before the stories begin, we’ll warm things up with Table Topics short, fun questions thrown out to the room to get everyone talking and help build confidence in public speaking in a relaxed, supportive setting. Whether you want to tell a story or simply sit back and enjoy the fun, everyone is very welcome. Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, plenty of chuckles , and a great chance to meet new people. Come along, bring a friend, and enjoy some much needed laughs on a dreary February night. Attendance €3 at door (Cash)

\*\*Each week we typically have 2-3 spots open to players from this app. This is why you will only see 2-3 attending. The others are regulars and we coordinate in a private WhatsApp group\*\* We play a 6v6 game every Wednesday @ 8:00PM in SportsCo, Dublin 4. The pitch we use is spacious an ideal for 6v6 (ball/all bibs provided). To encourage passing and flowing football, goals can only be scored from inside the penalty area. Games are played in a friendly atmosphere and slide tackles are prohibited. We don't have stick keepers and use a last-man back policy. There is a core group of regular players who have played with us for years but we also invite a handful of pickup players to play from this app. If pickup players like the vibe they might have the option to subscribe on a longer-term basis. This game has been running on the same pitch for over a decade. The games are good quality with good technical players and always played in a nice, competitive atmosphere.

This event is open to all for casual practice. However, coaching is not provided. 2 hrs of climbing is usually followed by a pint at Rascals :) About Gravity Climbing Gym: * **For anyone new to Gravity, they ask that you must have climbed at least 6 times in the last year or that you book an induction session directly with Gravity** (€28) https://www.gravityclimbing.ie/inductions If you like you can book your induction for the same time as this meetup and join us after (if available). -You'll also need to sign their digital waiver ahead of climbing for your first time at the gym. Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

Want to try dodgeball? We are a recreational and social club who aims to get active during the Autumn and Winter months and have fun while doing it. We play foam ball dodgeball and are beginner friendly, with members of all skills levels. All you need is comfortable active wear and a lot of water! This event is beginner Friendly. More experienced players are still free to come along. I will explain the rules before the first game at 7:15 so please arrive on time if you're new.
