A weekly board game meet up in "Mc Mahon’s Bar and Eatery" which is a pub. We get our own section, it's wheelchair friendly and parking is free! 🙂 Whether you are new or a veteran player you are all are welcome! General guidelines are: 1. Avoid handing drinks to people OVER a game. 2. We cannot take responsibility in the event of theft so keep your valuables close to you. 3. Strictly over 18+ only. The "rules" would be: 1. Be respectful to each other. 2. Don't be a creep. 3. Be patient to players of all skill levels. Failure to be a decent human being\* will jeopardise your participation in future events. The pub owner is really nice and are letting us use the space so if you can - please buy a tea, coffee or a drink on the night to support them if you can but don't feel obligated to do so. They also do food so you won't go hungry! The event starts at 7 PM and everyone is free to play until 11 PM where we'll wrap it up for the cleaners. Traffic from 5 - 6:30 is horrendous but the roads are clear enough after this time.

Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

Want to try dodgeball? We are a recreational and social club who aims to get active during the Autumn and Winter months and have fun while doing it. We play foam ball dodgeball and are beginner friendly, with members of all skills levels. All you need is comfortable active wear and a lot of water! We are running a small-group 'crash course' class on Sunday March 8, 2–3:30PM at our usual venue, The Pillar Room, beside The Gate Theatre at the top of O’Connell Street. We will cover the basic steps and rhythms for the dance.
