This supportive program invites men to come together in a safe and respectful space to share experiences, explore challenges, and reflect on what matters most in their lives. Participants are welcome to bring a topic of their own or simply speak about what’s happening for them in the moment. Guided discussion topics may include navigating masculinity, communication styles, understanding personal needs and the needs of others, building resilience, connecting with emotions, and clarifying values—along with other issues that commonly impact men in relationships and daily life. When a topic is raised, participants are encouraged to explore how it relates to their own experiences, offering insights and reflections in a way that supports learning and growth. The facilitator participates alongside the group, modeling respectful sharing, open discussion, and thoughtful reflection, ensuring that everyone feels heard and empowered to engage at their own pace.

Come along and gain support from others with OCD in a comfortable environment at 6:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month. **Facilitator** Facilitating the OCD support groups is Jim Beer, a dedicated community support worker with expertise in mental health. Jim brings his experience and knowledge to guide the group discussions and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. **Benefits of OCD Support Group** Support groups for individuals with OCD and their families provide an avenue for comfort, safety, and mutual support. These groups offer participants the opportunity to connect with others who understand their experiences and challenges. Additionally, the support groups serve as a valuable platform for learning more about OCD and its impact. Our monthly Northern social is held at Moon Dog World in Preston. Moon Dog World is a brewery, restaurant and bar with a lagoon, waterfall, hidden tiki bar and much more! Atmosphere is on the family restaurant side (dogs and kids a plenty!) but still a fun tropical style environment. Food is better than standard pub fare with exotic flavours and generous serves.
