🌾 Wildflowers: Our First leisurely Walk & Bloom
🌾 Wildflowers: Our First leisurely Walk & Bloom
**Shoreham to Fackenden down circular walk (4miles).** Are you ready to turn this digital space into real-life friendships? Community is the heartbeat of this group, and there is no better way to build it than by sharing a path together. Whether you’re here to find a new "bestie" or just want to be surrounded by supportive women, this is a space for us to grow together. We never know—this walk might just be the first chapter in a lifetime of friendship! **The Vibe: Connection & Nature** The goal for our first meetup is to keep things simple and relaxed. We’ll be soaking in the fresh air and stunning views with just a tiny bit of a challenge to keep things rewarding. By late March, we hope to see the landscape waking up with varied wildflowers and, if luck is on our side, some English wild orchids. * **Togetherness:** We’ll have plenty of time to chat, share stories, and learn about one another. * **Your Pace:** While community is key, we also respect your personal space. Whether you feel like being chatty or prefer a moment of quiet reflection in nature, you are welcome here. * **The Route:** Shoreham to Fackenden Down—a stunning upland walk through woods and grasslands with sweeping views. 🕒 The Logistics * **Meet at Victoria Station:** 11:00 AM (To travel together) * **Arrive Shoreham Station:** 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM * **The Walk:** Approx. 2–2.5 hours at a leisurely pace. (4 miles) * **The Finish:** We’ll end back at Shoreham Station. * **Social Stop:** We’ll head to **The Samuel Palmer** for snacks, drinks, or a late lunch early dinner to keep the conversation going! (Optional: You can head back early to London if you do not wish to spend time at the pub) đŸ„Ÿ Good to Know * **Fitness:** To keep things "easy-paced" but interesting, please note there are **three steep slopes** and one stile to climb. A basic level of fitness and sturdy shoes will make the experience much more enjoyable! * **Nature First:** We’ll be passing through protected sites (SSSI), so we’ll be mindful of the rare flora and fauna around us. Note: 1\. Tickets are to be purchased at our own expense\. 2\. Meetup fees mentioned below is to cover the organizer's subscription of Meetup\. 3\. This is female only group\. *(I will be updating more specific details soon—can’t wait to meet you all!)*
Canal Walk - Angel to Victoria Park Cafe / Market
Canal Walk - Angel to Victoria Park Cafe / Market
We will enjoy a leisurely walk (approx 45 mins - 1 hour) along Regent's Canal from Angel station and ending at the fabulous Victoria Park Market. This event usually runs on the 4th Sunday of each month, unless there is bad weather or exceptional circumstances. We are a welcoming group, so feel free to mix around and say hello other people. There is a wondering food market in Victoria Park, and most of us will get something to eat together. We usually sit on the grass or public benches (if available) near the Bonner Gate entrance, behind the Dogs of Alcibiades statue. This is at the intersection of foodstalls running north/south and east/west. If it is raining or the market is closed, we can either go to the Pavillion cafe, or The Crown pub on Grove Road instead. Please note a few points: 1\. There is currently no charge for this group\. I will need to review this again later in 2026\. 2\. WE WILL WAIT ONLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES AFTER THE START TIME\. If you are running late\, please catch us up along the canal\. Please note\, I will not be checking for meetup or whatsapp messages after the walk starts\. 3\. The nearest tube station to Victoria Park is Bethnal Green station \(central line\)\. Please check Google Maps or similar\. 4\. You are responsible for yourselves on the walk\, so please bring appropriate footwear etc\. Please be mindful of those around you\, especially where the canal gets narrow in places\. Whatsapp group here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/IJd6MJfVDPC6jUw6iW77ZY Previously, there was a separate walk on the 3rd Sunday of the month, which started at Limehouse Basin, and then ran along the same canal to Victoria Park. Please note, the walks starting from Limehouse on the 3rd Sunday of the month are now cancelled for the foreseeable future.
Dog Mum Pack Walk – Trent Park, North London
Dog Mum Pack Walk – Trent Park, North London
Join us for a relaxed Sunday **Dog Mum Pack Walk** in beautiful Trent Park. Yes, the dogs will have a great time — but this walk is also about something else: meeting other women, enjoying some fresh air, and connecting with like-minded dog mums. Women’s friendships matter. Time spent walking, talking, and sharing a few laughs together can do wonders for our wellbeing. So bring your dog, stretch your legs, and come enjoy the company of a friendly group of women. **And if you don’t have a dog but still fancy the walk and the company, you’re very welcome to join us too.** Happy dogs. Fresh air. Great conversation. **Secure your place for £3 and come walk with the pack.**

Puppy yoga is a safe and fun space that aids with our puppies socialisation. When you cuddle a puppy, it has psychological benefits, increasing the happy hormones: oxytocin and serotonin to the brain and lowering cortisol levels (the negative hormone) similar to when you embrace a new-born baby for the first time. This in turn with the yoga, will leave you feeling physically , mentally and emotional balanced and fulfillled. For health and safety reasons an Adult must attend and supervise the child. One adult per two children tickets purchased. Tickets non-refundable but can be redeemed against any future puppy yoga event with BarePaws Yoga Ltd.

Puppy cuddles yoga and playtime
Puppy cuddles yoga and playtime
Practise yoga while the cute puppies roam acround you
A typical puppy yoga class will have approximately 8-10 puppies with around 15 participants and the puppies can range from 8-14 weeks old. Puppy yoga classes involve having puppies roaming from one mat to the next, leaping on participants, and tussling with other puppies as you try out different yoga poses. Often pups are incorporated into some of the yoga poses or they happily roam free throughout class. All puppies are borrowed from a local breeder and we find the breeders from websites such as Kennel Club or Pets4Homes. On some occasions, Puppy Yoga gives the puppies an opportunity to be adopted, if they haven’t already found their forever home. The puppies get the chance to be around other people (not just their breeder) which enhances their socialisation. In the first 3 months of a puppies life it is very important to expose your puppies to different people, new environments, sounds and smells. Puppy yoga is a safe and fun space that aids with our puppies socialisation. Interactions with animals, especially puppies, has been proven to be extremely beneficial to our mental wellbeing. Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations. If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!). **HOW IT WORKS** **Step 1: Bring a topic** Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event. **Step 2: Circle up & share** We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds. **Step 3: Walk, talk & float** We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!" **Step 4: Feel more alive** Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times. *For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)* **HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC** A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about. Recent topics include: * "What are you passionate about right now?" * "What makes a good friend?" * "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?" * "How do you want to be remembered?" * "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?" Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter. **WHAT TO EXPECT** This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.* But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here. **FAQ** * Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk! * We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space. * We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space. * Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know. * Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic! **LOGISTICS** * If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event. * This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs. * Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details. * If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. đŸ€ đŸ‘‹ **IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER...** [The Board](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board) is the next step: a high-trust collective for renaissance people devoted to creating, connecting, and building lives that light us up. * This is a global HQ for people who crave big talk, deep connection, and dream collaborations with people across industries.
