In this talk we'll explore Blazor, Microsoft's framework for building web apps with .NET, and how it can leverage WebAssembly to run C# directly in the browser. Adam will take you through what Blazor is and the types of hosting models available, and what WebAssembly is and how it differs from traditional JavaScript-based approaches. Finally, we'll finish with some interactive demos showing the power of Blazor and WebAssembly. **Our Speaker:** **Adam Blakey:** 💼**Adam is a Graduate Software Engineer at Capital One.** Before this, he worked at Savoy Systems on projects ranging from data visualisation and automated testing to a major initiative involving porting a legacy application to a new language. 🧑‍🔬 **In 2024, Adam completed his Mathematics PhD at the University of Nottingham**, where he developed scientific software to simulate blood flow and nutrient transport within the human placenta. 🧑‍💻 **Most of Adam’s work centres on software development**, and in his spare time he predominantly creates websites and bespoke software in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
