🌊🦭 Hey Seals – Seapoint Beach Tomorrow! ☀️ The heatwave is here, so what better excuse to jump into the sea and cool off with your fellow Dublin Seals! High tide is at 10am so come along for a refreshing dip, a chat and a bit of craic. Whether you're a regular swimmer or just fancy getting in for a paddle, everyone is welcome. A quick reminder that this is an informal group swim, we look out for each other but **we are not lifeguards**. Everyone is responsible for their own safety, so please know your limits, don't go out of your depth, and don't stay in longer than is comfortable for you. Even on a hot day, the sea can be cold, so bring warm dry layers, a towel, and something dry to put on afterwards. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and hopefully a few new ones too. No experience with Buddhism is required — just an openness to conversation and connection. On Friday 26th June we will have an evening walk in the Dublin Mountains - with some of the loveliest views around Dublin. Although it's 5 days after the actual summer solstice, sunset is at 9:57pm so we have plenty of time to enjoy the long summer evening. From the meeting point we will take the 44B bus to Johnnie Fox's pub, known for being one of the highest pubs in Ireland. We will then walk to Ballyedmondiff Wedge Tomb (also known as Giant's Grave), Two Rock, Fairy Castle and Three Rock before finishing up with a quick drink in the Blue Light pub (if we wish). There is then a pleasant 15-20 mins walk to the bus stop where there are buses to Dundrum & Dublin City Centre and Glencairn Luas stop (with Green Line services). If the weather is good, we may stop for a short picnic along the way, so feel free to bring food and drink. Feel free to come on the walk even if you haven't been to a meet up before. This is a great way to meet new people and see new places. \*\*\* If you wish to wander off during a break then it's probably OK but please agree with the organisers a time you'll return so we're not waiting for you \*\*\* [Date] 26th June (FRIDAY) [Time] 17:15 \~ 22:00. The 44B bus is due to leave at 17:30 but please arrive in plenty of time in case it leaves a few minutes early. Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink.
