We'll ride together as a group, either single-file or double-file depending on traffic conditions. This is an interval training ride, meaning we'll push above threshold on the ascents and take it easy on the descents and flat sections. While we wait a few minutes at key points, this is not a beginner ride. Please be prepared to be dropped if you can't keep up with the pace. **Is This Ride for Me?** While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a road bike, and have done rides of similar distance and elevation before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be self-sufficient, therefore please bring not only your bike but also sync the route, bring phone, cash and lights. **Safety:** Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. The art-making process will serve as a bridge for social and creative communication, and the theme will be centered around traveling and the things that make us vibrate. We'll start by using imagery, storytelling, and moving freely between drawing and writing to collage. We'll also work collaboratively, with each collaborator adding to a composition in sequence, allowing creativity to flow as we play. The main objective is self-expression, awakening creativity, having fun, and sharing a nice time together while colors and words come together to empower the artistic experience. I will guide you in the right direction to create something that you may have never thought of on your own, and you can take your own pace with art and bring it back home.
