(not for beginners or those interested in becoming famous) There are other workshops at Bigoli Studios for beginners emphasizing the basic pillars of Acting. This workshop is strictly for serious and dedicated Acting professionals. **THE WORKSHOP** is open to monologue work, original scene work with a partner or two, and other material (an audition or booked job for a film, play or series) It's an invaluable experience for an Actor to create in a safe environment. It enables actors to enhance their creativity, concentration and commitment in a supportive environment. I encourage those interested in developing their craft to join us and experience that growth. The workshop is flexible and drop ins are encouraged, meaning if you are preparing for a role and wish to work on it for a few workshops and then come another time that's fine. It is the same format as the Actors Studio of New York. **ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:** Tomislav is a versatile storyteller with a rich backgound in writing, directing and teaching. He received his masters degree in writing and directing at Columbia University in 1993, and has worked with well known directors such as David Lynch, Emir Kusturica, and Martin Scorsese. He is also a lifetime member of the Actors Studio in New York which has shaped his process in helping actors add layers to their craft.

Iniciaremos con una investigación interpretativa a través de improvisaciones y propuestas escénicas para llegar a una creación colectiva de varios montajes de microteatro a representar en distintos centros, teatros y salas de Barcelona. Una vez tengamos la propuesta creativa empezaremos a incidir y trabajar en todo lo que es necesario para una creación escénica que se presentará en público. Aprenderemos a realizar un montaje teatral con todo lo que hay delante y detrás del escenario. Partiendo siempre del trabajo de la creación colectiva y de grupo, profundizaremos en el trabajo de personajes, creación, texto y guion. ENGLISH (Spanish below! PS, please let me know if you cannot view the event pricing!) * First, we will meet, greet and go over the route map and objectives for about 15 minutes. There will be a basic talk about things to look for and specific things to shoot for each objective. * We will go over the map and then spend time walking the route stopping and shooting in each area. We will be walking for a total of about 2-2.5 hours. The main focus of the workshop is to learn about and gain more confidence shooting street photography with the bonus of exploring and seeing some interesting spots around Barcelona. * Once we're finished the route we will meet at a cafe (if we want!) to speak about the objectives, answer any questions and close with any comments or remarks 30 minutes. * In total we will spend about 2.5 hours in this street photography workshop. Other things to note * You should know the basics of photography and how your camera works. We'll discuss street photography techniques, not learning how to use cameras. * Bring the min amount of things required for a few hours of shooting. Start the New Year off right! Join us as we get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event to distribute food at the Champion Food Pantry! We’ve created a great little community of Movie Group friends! Rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve people in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: The Champion Food Pantry provides needed food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. For this event, we’ll be volunteering to help with Food Distribution during client pick up times. Our group will receive on-the-spot training from some of their seasoned regular volunteers. PLAN FOR CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: Please arrive by 2:45pm. Our volunteer time will be from 3:00 to 6:00pm. LOCATION & PARKING: The Champion Food Pantry is located at 1460 S. Champion Ave in Columbus. Parking is located in the lot on Frebis across from the pantry. Please enter through the door marked "Volunteers enter here” on Frebis Ave. A map has been uploaded to the photos. IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing the majority of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. No shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will mak you ineligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve.
