Join us for a lovely cycle around the Malahide Estuary coastal route to Donabate Beach, with a coffee stop at the **Shoreline Hotel**. We’ll use the Malahide–Donabate coastal road, **which is only accessible at low tide** The route is 70km with minimal climbing, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable group ride. New members welcome. Here is our plan for the day. 1️⃣ We leave from Clontarf at 915am 2️⃣Cycle out to Donabate on low tide road, we stop for coffee at Shoreline hotel. 3️⃣ ride back by inland route through Swords and around the airport. 4️⃣ All going well we should be back in the city centre easily by 2 pm Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture. Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment. Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. On the day, we’ll: * Get our **hands dirty** with some light garden work and soil prep * Do some **seed sowing** and talk about what grows well locally * **Make kombucha together** and chat about fermentation, food, and simple home practices * Share knowledge, questions, and experiences around growing food * Enjoy some **fellowship, chats, and a bit of craic** along the way.Alongside the practical side, we’ll also have an open, informal discussion about a bigger idea: * The possibility of **small community “park farms” or gardens** in underused green spaces around Dublin * What that might look like, what’s realistic, and whether others feel drawn to exploring it further There’s no pressure, no expertise required, and no expectation beyond showing up with curiosity and a willingness to pitch in.
