Feminist Question Time LIVE w/ speakers from around the world! Every Saturday AM
We are not alone! Come listen, learn, and share at this weekly ***WOMEN ONLY*** presentation by Women's Declaration International (formerly Women's Human Rights Campaign). Join this sorority of radical feminists from around the world as they inform us about the challenges and struggles in their own countries. Chat with other attendees and put questions to the panelists. Following the presentation, you are invited to join breakout rooms (women only please) with the panelists.
These weekly online webinars present a new panel each week from around the world, often reporting on a central theme. They are attended by a global feminist and activist community of between 250-350. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls.
The speaker list and any particular theme is usually announced mid-week before the webinar. Information will be added here as it becomes available.

Declaration on Women's Sex-Based Rights

The Declaration re-affirms women and girls' sex-based rights, and challenges the discrimination experienced from the replacement of the category of sex with that of ‘gender identity'.

The legal adoption of "gender identity" politics is fraught with unintended consequences. A clear example has unfolded in New York where a self-described "trans-woman lesbian" (a hetero man in a dress) has used gender-neutral language amendments to supplant women in elected offices that had been specifically reserved for females. The arrangement of "1 man + 1 woman" had been put in place to ensure women's fair representation in an arena from which they have been historically underrepresented or excluded:

Success Meditation
Although success looks different for everyone, the tools for achieving it are the same.
Why is it so hard for people to make positive, lasting changes in our lives? It’s because we’re trying to change the outer world, without changing our inner world. Our minds tend to repeat the same thoughts and behavior patterns of the past. When we refresh our minds and break free of those patterns, we find that we have the wisdom and ability to make the necessary changes to succeed.

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

Creativity Circle: Bead Bracelets and Keychains
In April WQC's Creativity Circle will be making beaded bracelets and keychains! All supplies provided, open to all, bring yourself (and a friend or two) for when you are able to make it in the two hour window. Note: Seats are Limited to the provided space at the Westerville Public Library in Meeting Room D.
Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online
