**Don Mills Civitan Arena** is located on 1030 Don Mills Rd, about 4km south of Sheppard Ave. Nearest intersection is Don Mills and Lawrence. Bring your skates, there are NO skate rentals. This is an indoor rink, so dress accordingly. It will not be affected by warm or rainy weather. Look for me in a blue blue jacket and glasses/mask. Amenities: Change room and Washroom available. TTC directions: Closest subway is Don Mills station - take the 925 or 25 bus south (about 10mins) or you can also, take the same buses from Broadview going north (about 30mins). ######## NEW LOCATION ####### We are going to be at The Forge on Bethel Rd this week and until further notice! The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude.
