A favorite of the DMV's swing dance community, the Rock-A-Sonics play a mix of Rockabilly, 50's rock and country, and Western swing. Frontman Willie Barry's pure tenor is accompanied by a group of very talented musicians. Tommy Joe's in downtown Bethesda occupies the second and third floor of corner building. Bands play the second floor and there's no cover. It's easily accessible by metro or car (I use parking garage 36 Auburn- Del Ray).

Every Second Sunday of the Month from 1-2 pm EST In this class Bebe Blumenthal helps kids learn to play music together. Kids have the opportunity to play the tunes they are learning in your private lessons with others - and learn new songs from others. Importantly kids learn how to collaborate, communicate, create and play well with others in a jam session. This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors.
